I can say with certainty that in the realm of music, newer is with certain exceptions worse. Take us back to the 60s and 70s when we had the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones etc etc, as opposed to the Justin Biebers of today.

Usually when it comes to electronics and technology, the newer the better.

Sometimes it can be better, upgrades that have come from newer discoveries can make some cool things.

I'll take for example a hobby of mine, but it can relate to anything, anything at all, not just my Motorcycle.

The newer motorcycles are incredible, as new things are discovered you get more powerful and more importantly more useful and safe motorcycles. It is true a newer motorcycle is alot safer than an old vintage bike, as the world becomes more safety conscience these worries are implemented in the machines we make. Also in the newer bikes are wonderful things such as the electric start, which allows the motorcycle to start with just the press of a button, much better than the old way of kicking a lever.

But on the other side, vintage motorcycles are awesome. There is some odd feeling you get from vintage items which is just amazing, there is something kind of bad-ass about kick starting the motorcycle (something which has been removed from some newer models, replaced with the useful, but hardly very epic, electric start)...

Yeah sorry, I rambled on a bit about motorbikes there, but it goes for everything really... the new can be infinitely useful and have cool perks... but the old has this awesome feel to it and this vintage feel... and as Yaminori said yesterday, those who were there when the old was the new, get even more of a kick from it

Coming from a retro-gamer yessss some things just lack the quality of the old, like my bed for example. Its a 19th century antique and I've never slept on anything comfier.

I like Old and New It depends i guess?
Like for movies, i like to watch old movies sometimes.
It just brings memories.

For cars, I prefer old ones* I think they're better. The outside may not be as good as the new cars, but its all about the engine and stuff.

And Tv's, Phones, Game console. Some people will get the new one, because the old ones might stop working. Or its outdated.
I don;t know, it really depends on some stuff.
