Hi there. I was wondering if any of you still* burns your anime series into cd's or dvd's
if so what program/software/burner do you use?
and how many cds/dvds it takes to complete one series?

for me I use cdburnerxp.
and for a common 26 ep series I use almost 3 cds

aha when I read the title I thought you meant 'burning' as in throwing your dvd's or w/e into a fire heh.

anime on cd's... uhh... moving on. I make copies of my dvds all the time using such software as DVD Fab due to the fact it makes exact copies of a DVD, so around 4-6 dvd's based on the set. This software is also great for ripping dvd's to digital format as for such things as the ps3 and the Ipod touch. Below is a link to dvd fab and is free to use for month.

Manga burns far better than anime. You don't need as much kindling.

No store it on a 2 tb external harddrive :P
If I had the money, I would go to Outland and buy manga, but atm I prioritise games.
Outland = A store in town which sell Anime dvds, manga, western cartoons and some other nerd stuff.

I seriously hope you don't do this. There are External Harddrives which would be much cheaper in the long run tbh, and they're fairly cheap. It cost me $143 (without tax) for 3 TB (actually 2.72 TB) external harddrive from Best Buy.

It appears as someone deleted their post when I was commenting.

Burn my anime
I get/buy my anime from iTunes - I leave the original download copy on my laptop HDD and make a backup copy that I soon transfer to my 750 GB (695 GB) external HDD.
I want to get another storage device; a SSD which is more reliable(also more expensive ) than a HDD

No way in hell. If you truly like Anime you should be helping the publishers by paying to watch it or watching on a Legal site such as Crunchyroll. I can understand maybe watching 1 or 2 episodes to see if you like it, but its unfair to the creators.
