7/10 I think the lineart could use some work/variation, but I think even a slight change in it would make the whole thing improve loads :)

Here's mine, a fanart piece of one of my favourite pairings, Wally and Carmen Sandiego! They're sitting on suitcases because they're waiting at an airport - I got this idea in my head that the only time C&W would be static is in airports, waiting for their next flight. I like the idea of characters who are always on the run being forced to wait in a place where they're surrounded by constant motion. Shame I can't draw backgrounds. XD

Wow, that is awesome. :O And nice idea, I agree. Always hard to find these two haha. I wish I could see more texture in their clothing especially. My opinion only, it looks a little too smooth for my tastes

9.5/10 :D

This is my first digital art. It was done on iPad with my finger! :O
I wish I could have a digitizer pen for the iPad Just does not exist though!

8/10 I think his hand is too big but it's a very good drawing.

I'm aware of the mistake I made on his fringe, sorry. xD

don't be to hard on yourself person above me. I like the simple stylization of the guy's face. It's quite expressive. Even though there's not much detail in the drawing sometimes if someone were to put to much detail than the drawing could fall into the uncanny valley.
This one's mine. I used an ink pen to draw it and then I scanned and adjusted the black and white contrast digitally. Very simple.

4/10 a tip that i think you would benefit from is varying the lineweight because it feels very static atm, as did my first ink drawings :)
Here is an example of a study i did when i tried to focus on keeping the lineweight varied http://ullbors.deviantart.com/art/Cowboy-bebop-Spike-378691638

And here is an image i recently completed:

Hey, thank you for the constructive criticism Ullbors.

Yeah, I see you're point about how my image seems static, almost as if the pose is uncomfortable. That is because I had no reference material when drawing the character. Everything I did was from my imagination but that would only cause me to lose image quality. Also, based on some of you're deviant art work, I can see that if I made more adjustments with the line variety in pen drawn artwork than I could make an image that is much more animated and 3 dimensional. (that's a skill that I am currently practicing) All it takes is practice.

It seem's that about half the images in this forum are done by art students with years of experience and the other half are done by amateurs like me. You can easily tell the difference between the person who draws a 15min sketch and then uploads it vs, the person who pours hours into a single drawing.

I think your's is a pretty solid 9/10 btw

Nice shading, cute expression, and good texture in the fabric~
If I may, however, the open eye is a little bit off-center. If it could be closer, it would complete the look.

There seems to be a void above this post...

[edited for size- and to remove name... it's just that bad lol]

This quick one nearly made me rage quit with all the problems it had. My first time drawing in 7 years (other than some low resolution sprites) and my first time using colored pencils... as you can see I couldn't get any smooth layering going. I have since greatly improved at that but the reason I started drawing again was to make some manga styled art for use in a game I am developing.

I have never drawn in that style before so some tips would be greatly appreciated.

I really like the angle you're trying to capture, but I definitely think you need to fill in those white spots and adjust the body proportion some more (: great work

Alright so here's mine, it's the first work I've ever done on a computer to it's a little plain but yeah (:
