^ You have so much patience! How do you avoid spoilers?!?!

on a whim, I watched an episode on netflix last december and got hooked. I'm all up to date now.

You guys waiting on season 3 are missing out... two of my favorite episodes are in season 3.


my only gripe with the show is I kind of wish there was more continuity between episodes..

characters outside of the mane 6 rarely show any kind of recollection from past experiences and encounters/ events.

otherwise, I love the show. It has a lot of heart.

ACtually the little girl ponies the ones that don't have cutie marks make appearances all the time, also the zebra one makes a lot of appearances as well, also theres going to be a fighting game called MY LITTLE PO"NY FIGHTING IS MAGIC. THe age of the bronies is upon you kneel and pray that when the apocolypse ponies arrive that you are wearing your bronie badge high. Lol but seriously its a fun show for my daughters and I can't help but want to buy them all lol.

Well, to be technical (sorry, it's just they're my favorite animators), Lauren Faust is the creator of MLP:FIM. She is Craig McCracken's wife, and he was the one who created Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig's friend from college, created Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack. However, they are all friends, and often collaborate on the others' works. Prior to all of this, Genndy and Craig worked together on Two Stupid Dogs, another great cartoon (remember Morocco Mole?). But as to the original topic, I like MLP a whole heap, but not enough to call myself a brony...

I think I figured out why MLP is so popular with guys nowadays. Each one of the ponies exhibits a set of characteristics that males are drawn towards, from the fancy modeling type Rarity, to the tomboyish, but still kinda girly Rainbow Dash (who I would wager is the most popular), to the nerdy bookworm Twilight Sparkle, to the super cheerful, bouncy, and pink Pinkie Pie, to the super nice and super shy Fluttershy, and finally, of course, the southern belle ranch girl Applejack. Because they cover so much in terms of likeable personality, a guy who sits and gives it a chance is bound to find qualities in the ponies that he'd like to see more in real women. Make sense?

Isn't it sad that Hasbro cracked down on the group making My Little Pony Fighting is Magic and got the project canceled. I really wanted to see how that game would play

So on a whim I checked out the Japanese Dub of the series.



Over all they did a really good job voicing the characters but Holy crap their version of Fluttershy is cute.

I'm a brony, do I need to go further than this?
