Lolicon -Lolita Complex..? What's your take ?

Haha fixed it right in time!

Watching Welcome to the NHK would probably clarify your question in a symbolic sense...

You've caught on to part of my mindset in this discussion. Welcome to the NHK is a fantastic example of it, except WttNHK had to do with a conspiracy about the "Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai" mass producing hikikomori. Now, Tastuhiro Sato did end up developing a Lolita Complex due to his friend Yamazaki subjecting him to lolicon. Yamazaki influenced Tatsuhiro and essentially added to his preferences.

Yeah I found it relevant in both senses. The anime industry does throw out teases, and undertones on a frequent basis. The industry is prolific in that sense, and it's massive community following digests the material because of all of legitimate paraphernalia , director cuts, and all around nature of it being related to such a large and awesome medium. Anime.

While is is true that producers of something have a target audience, they will inevitably attempt advertising to people who initially have no interest in what they are marketing. In the case of lolicon, a producer might be ill-advised to just toss it out there in the open, but they have, anyways. People push the envelope every day.

Well I am 5 foot... My 9 year old niece is taller then me... I do not think liking short people make you have a Loli complex... unless that girl is a child...

Well my issue with it would be if the genre does encourage the concept of treating kids as a sexual objects. Its a trend that is getting worse in all societies. I mean I've found bras targeted at 6-7 year old children, really is it necessary? There is a growing list of things targeted towards encouraging young kids to act promiscuous as if its O.K. In contrast the 'Lolita Genre' in Anime can be seen as a media form that promotes the concept as being acceptable in society and the adult community. The problem is if it is considered as paraphernalia tools for pedophiles and if it fuels their urges to commit something.

Yes, yes it is all fiction but frankly I don't differentiate between a photo and a drawn picture of the exact same thing.

Did you see the thongs they make for kids now ? Yes actually thongs... Kids are growing up too fast...

Think my stomach tumbled a bit when I saw those pics.
It's somewhat innocent, but....... blargh!

That last one had a booty on her. None of those were attractive. But I admittedly have weakness for bent over female behinds. The last one was a bit... Just being honest.

Almost developed teenage girls like 16 can be hot but their innocence and not completely developed bodies make me see them as kids. You're just lying to yourself if some developing adolescents (with tidbits) can't tickle you even a bit. Granted the kid factor kicks in...Just being fair.

So to sum it up: Developed Person , Developing person ,

Undeveloped person If you're into real life kids then you're kinda messed up.

That's funny my brother is actually reading that book (Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov) at the moment.

I think the little girls in the pictures are cute...but they should absolutely not be posing like that. Naturally, I don't like pedophilia. However, I will not go against it. This being that I can actually see why some adults are sexually interested in little children (yes I have a twisted mind), but I would not go so far as to actually doing any of those actions, and do not fully understand why they do.

I know what you mean. I hate seeing little kids in two piece bikinis. I mean when they're older sure, why not. But why give it to them when the kid is under 10? I will not understand the logic of it nor of why piercings are fashionable on anyone.

call it whatever, its still pedophilia, and its wrong . the age of consent shouldn't be at a time when your judgement skills are not only compromised by the process of puberty but not even fully developed. If you are over 15 you should not be looking at a 10 year old that way. and as for japan having a low rate of child sexual abuse, that's only that they know of. How much is it reported and how much has been kept silent. As for the manga and anime. Its just creepy. as far as mistuedomoe, It seems more like kids experimenting on their own . But Astarotte's Toy , it had a good story concept but the main character, a succubus princess is TEN, and they got her a human male in hopes that she'll suck him off so she can survive. i repeat she's TEN!! and he's supposed to be 23. and he's the father of her half sister. Whos about the same age.Not to mention the fashions they have them in. I feel Im going to be on a government watch list because of that anime.
just WTF?!

i hoped you got up and left when he said that, and at the very least reported him to the authorities. someone who would admit to that on a first date shouldn't be walking around free and clear.

Corrupt. That is all.

Loli/shotacon disturbs me greatly. The only advantage is it's not real people, but that's no excuse. It's still creepy.

I was soo shocked.. I didn't know what to say... I just smiled and excused myself to the little girls room... texted my other (23 year old) little sister.. to commence operation creepy guy alert..

Went back... 5 mins later....my little then 5 year old niece called me.. crying and screaming saying she was scared and wanted me...

Told him it was a family emergency... He said I was lying... I blasted a cresando of my niece's horrible horrible (her crying is like a cat being choked and drowned at the same time.. 9 years old and still cries like that) crying on the speaker phone.. he drove me to meet my (older younger one) sister at a gas station... I thanked him for a interesting night... changed my number and never use Match.com again....

I vowed to never ever use Match.com again... Before I met a guy who imagined more dates then we went on... He envisioned a whole 2 year relationship we had... when we only went out twice.... it was weird... I changed the number again...

Moral of the story.... Online dating sucks... I could tell you some horror stories...lol..
