Lovely Complex – Movie

It started out as a movie and then it was made into an anime. Most people usually start out Lovely Complex with the Live Action Version. It is amazing to see as the cast are mostly really young. It’s a perfect romance movie that tells you love can come in many forms. Love can be of any size or height, as height is what differentiates the main leads’ love from other movies or dramas. Singer Koike Teppei, stars as Ohtani alongside Risa (Ema Fujisawa) as the main leads. It is truly very cute to watch. Even as cute as this -> ^-^


Glass No Kamen (Glass Mask) I & II – Drama

The anime was made first and then the drama came after. The main lead: Yumi Adachi, who plays Maya Kitajima, truly shows great acting. She plays a role as a girl who wants to become an actress. It’s like a split personality where she also faces a wall and has to figure out whether family, love, or the acting world is important. Glass Mask has two seasons so it builds up suspense as you will find out about Maya’s fate.

Death Note 2 – Movie

Although it is not exactly as how the anime’s plot goes, it still has the main idea. Light has a Death Notebook and there’s Ryuk the Shinigami (Death God) with his love of apples, similar to that of the anime. By far, the animation looks really good and the acting is also good. Fangirls love L for his sweet taste in lollipops and various sugary confections being played out in live action, with the actor, Kenichi Matsuyama, satisfying many fan's expectations of the quirky detective. The first movie however is licensed, so if you want to know what happened in the first movie then please purchase the movie. The plot starts off exactly where the first movie left, so it's highly recommended to watch the first one if you're new to the Death Note fandom. This movie received lots of ratings and is considered shorter than the anime itself. Luckily there’s an L movie coming out in 2008 next year so many L fans (like myself) will be looking out for that. Check out Death Note Live Action 2 before it becomes licensed.
