![]() Contents: - 001 Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora - Lazybook - 002 Fate/ Stay Night - Evengoddoesntknow - 003 Moyashimon - Apothem 001 ~Lazybook Did you ever love those tear shedding and heartwarming series that makes you think about yourself and your life? Well that's what Hantsuki is all about. Taking place in a city hospital, Yuichi is hospitalized due to a sickness with hepatitis. Having been sneaking out disapprovingly daily to have some fun, he encounters a girl named Rika. Her beauty and attitude wasn't easy to pass by, as Yuichi became more interested in her and start visiting her daily. Sadly, he eventually discovers that her selfishness was caused by her weakened heart and have only a short period to live. There were many psychological barriers and physical challenges Yuichi went through as he tried to face this problem, nevertheless, he did his best as a friend to be there for her. Will Rika finally be able to see the light, and how will the surgery turn out? Be sure to watch the series and find out! Hantsuki is definitely a decent drama series I would recommend to check out, and the only complaint I have is the 6 episode count. Though it ended pretty quick, you can really get the overall feel of the story and how sad it is to lose someone close to you. Character design and animation are pretty average, the hairpiece was especially a nice touch for the female character. This show gets a 8/10 from me, and please be sure to check out the Live Action and let me know how it turns out ^.^ 002 ~Evengoddoesntknow Fate/Stay Night. Wow. I would be lying if I said I wouldn’t watch this again. I’ll be honest; at first I thought it wasn’t anything special, just your average fighting love Anime. Then episode one ended and I started episode two. WOW! It was like a whole new world opened up. The plot took a drastic change and Shiro started to look even more and more chivalrous. I personally can’t believe how many times Shiro picked himself up from death just to stare it straight in the eyes again. The arrival of characters in the story was perfect. Every character played a part in the story that allowed it to progress even deeper into the plot. Most perfectly formed Anime. I honestly cannot think of any other way of describing it! This is the first time in my life that I had not been able to decide on a favorite character. I’m thinking Archer or Saber. Saber well…common! Talk about love at first sight! -Sighs-. In the beginning I didn’t think much of Archer. I thought he was just the cool guy who played it smooth, who I didn’t really care much for. Then episode 14. Yeah! For those who have seen it you know what I’m talking about! One word, bad ass!! It’s hard not to like him after seeing that godlike performance. It’s hard not to spoil anything to our friends that haven’t seen it yet but, a little advice, keep an open mind to the servants and where they come from. Towards the end almost everyone except four was my favorite character, I just couldn’t decide. I’ll tell you right now that you would not regret it if you dropped everything right now and started watching. Short of school, homework, and your girlfriend of course. Haha. Shiro to me is one of my personal favorite characters of Anime. I know. I don’t believe it too, a favorite guy character!? Hey, you go watch the Anime and tell me he’s not worth idolizing. The things he's done and the people he’s done them for is my kind of guy. If I had a nickel for every time I daydream about doing what Shiro has done than I would be able to afford more Anime! If I had to choice to be any character I wanted to be Shiro would be in my top three, if not number one, hands down. Watching the Anime is only a small portion to the story. There is also a game, which I personally want as a Christmas gift, and the Manga, which I am trying to finish up as I type this article. For those who aren’t exactly big on Hentai or eroge novels I suggest just watching the Anime and reading the Manga. I myself look forward to the game and plan to follow Konata Izumi's way and buy three of them! One for personal usage, another to look at, and one more spare to keep safely hidden! Take my word for it, watch it! Then read it. Then play it because that’s the order I’m doing it in. Fate/Stay Night. Beautiful. Try not to cry! Believe me it’s harder to stop yourself from crying than it is to look away from Saber while she’s in the shower. Isn’t that right Shiro! Haha, lucky. Go watch it for yourself and see if you like it. I highly suggest it. A ten out of ten on my list. Till next time, Fate/Stay Night!! 003 ~ Apothem Welcome to the interesting world of microbes. Director Yano Yuuichirou joins prolific screenwriter Takahashi Natsuko (Bleach, School Rumble) to animate the manga made by Ishikawa Masayuki. The main protagonist Sawaki Tadayasu begins to attend Tokyo’s college of agriculture along with his best friend Yuuki Kei. Sounds like another school comedy so far, right? Well, not exactly. You see, Sawaki has this special power to see, touch, and speak to germs/microorganisms. With this hidden potential it catches the eye of a Professor Itsuki Keizou, an old friend of Sawaki’s grandfather. Not everyone is convinced though if Sawaki really has this power. He is put through tough tests by suspecting Professor Itsuki’s leather strapped, bombshell babe, lab assistant Hasegawa Haruka. Later on he meets new friends Misato and Kawahama (along with others) who are two lazy trouble makers. I will have to say the first episode really captures you to watch more. From different kinds of microbes to different kinds of foods made from fermenting, you will learn a lot of information you never new about the world of agriculture. Don’t let that scare you away. It’s the comedy that sucks you in such as Girls getting drunk, brewing homemade Sake, and crazy campus festivals. It really is a quite refreshing comedic anime without all the Moe I have seen put into comedies lately. The only bad part about this anime is the fact that it’s only 11 episodes long. I really wanted more for such a great anime. Don’t expect a second season though. *cries* ![]() The animation is also done quite well. It’s very smooth and eye pleasing. Music is simple enough with nothing annoying. For a comedy anime you usually don’t need that much in that department. I love the opening and closing sequences. Overall, it’s a great anime you can get done in a weekend. What are you waiting for?!
