What's the reason behind your username?

Mauz15 My first name is Mauricio, my last name starts with Z, so I took the first 3 letters of my name plus the Z and a random 15
BillyG2093 You could say that the first manga I read was A.I Love You from Ken Akamatsu so it really stuck with me....
KougiHmm I usually use this name when I'm playing MMORPGs, so I decided to use it on CR too. It means "justice" or "friendship", depends on how it's used in a sentence...It's a japanese word too, and we all know how much we love japan >_>
Zeronite -It was originally just "Zero" but I came to the realization that everyone else had thought of the same username, so I decided to put a spin on it and well, here it is.
Shii21 :: The reasons behind my username:
1. shii same from my self translated japanese name shiijie/shiji
2. shii is also considered as my RL nickname.
3. 21 is my favorite number coz its from my birthday, July 21.
4. shii + 21 = shii21
winged2monkey lol well it was long ago and i wanted a cool sn for something or other so i had to do some project about the allegories to the wizard of OZ and the time it was written to so i saw those monkeis with wings and since i have always been a monkey afficionado i was like "hahaha monkeys with wings lol flipping awesome the auother must've been high or something" so i had a vision and that vision was winged2monkey, the 2 is cuz my fav number is 2 and it makes the whole sn with number trend fit making me cool in the process so instead of trying "to" and so ive used for everything, email, cr, games tags, etc
Jesterj Reply: There really is no reason behind my user name it is just something I thought sounded cool. Though I am not really all that certain where the random J came from.
halfnhalf121 My username represents me (mainly my ethnic background). The first "half" in my username is because I am half Russian. The second "half" is because I am half Middle Eastern (Arab). And the numbers represent my birthday December 1st.
Senta Well, I made it up. (: I was craaazy about the Japanese name 'Sen' at the time (about ..3 years ago?) but that was taken on various websites. So, I added a part of my older brother's name, "Ta". And voila, that's how I got it. Been using it ever since. x3
naruto9817 It's my first anime I watched with my lucky number 9 and my brothers lucky number 8 for the 98 and the 17 is both added together. Not very original I know. It still gets me lots of invites to ALL of the Naruto groups. XD


If you could change the name of Crunchyroll- what to?

Shii21 :: The name Crunchyroll itself is a really great name and very unique but the initials of it (CR) somewhat make me thing "Comfort Room" when I first join in here!

halfnhalf121 I have no idea. I guess keeping it would be best. If the name is unique it will stick in people's minds.
Senta I wouldn't change it. Crunchyroll is Crunchyroll. :)

Describe how you think a Crunchyroll convention would go~

Mauz15 It would be more like a small meeting rather than a convention. A few members that live in a certain area just hanging out for a couple of hours. I can't picture a big convention in this site.
BillyG2093 The CR mods would probally be walking around with shotguns banning noobs i guess o.o
Kougi If it were somewhere near, I think a lot of people might go there. ..I know I would. CR is a big community afterall...I'mma stalk s_j_b -sama too ;)
Zeronite -I have absolutely no idea. In fact it's kind of scary to think about that..
Shii21 :: A crunhyroll convention? hmm.. i dont get the question but anyway, i think having some bonding sessions with friends, some concerts as well, have an overnight stay in a big big place where all the cr members are all accommodated with big swimming pools, some arcade stuffs with Drum Mania, Guitar Mania and DDR! Free PS3 to be given away (whoa!! shinji is really rich! lol), some raffles as well, and just have some fun!
winged2monkey well it'll be packed like full house, filled with cosplaying for sure and azn food all around with cool stations or rooms or section of every media type but as the day progresses u'll see a change, like that section that only flirts will show its tru colors and more old members will stay while the kiddies run along to movies or game stations, well everything will turn it into an azn theme party with drinks and ppl having fun
Jesterj Reply: I think it would be, filled with stalkers galore. There would be the occasional awkward but funny moments followed by the random death glomp or two perhaps three. Though all in all it would be sort of strange to meet people who for the most part we know purely by their avi's.
halfnhalf121 I sometimes wish I could meet some people from CR. A CR convention would be pretty cool. I bet some of the snotty-nose brats on CR will turn out to be 30 year old guys XD hahahaha.
Senta Well. I know one thing for sure -- I wouldn't be allowed to go. LMAO. It would be terrifying. All the n00bs. And the scary pedos. *shudder* xD
naruto9817 It would be pretty weird seeing people from this site, or at least for me, but I think it would be a lot of fun! I'm sure a lot of the people on this site would make the convention a blast. Especially seeing Basou. What a nerd. =P
Their is also a handful of other people that would be pretty cool to meet. :)


Favourite cheese?

Quesillo. Literally 'little cheese' in Spanish. A type of double cream cheese from Colombia. They sell it wrapped in a plantain leaf, don't ask me why ^^

Jesterj Reply: I would have to say provolone just because it makes an awesome Philly Cheese steak. Also I hear it is made of the tears of the innocent which makes it all the better.

Interview With The Stereotype Otaku: Day 1: Hour 1

Pre-Interview: My friends, in their opinion, say that being an interviewee is stressful because, if they ask a question you don't know how to answer, you'll start getting nervous, fumble around, and might even start stuttering. I know what it feels like, being a nervous wreck. But they have no idea how stressful it is when it's your first day interviewing and the interviewee's an otaku, as seen below.

Me: Hello. What's your name?
Otaku 1: Uzamaki Naruto! Go ninjutsu!
Me: ... Okay. What anime do you watch?
Otaku 1: Naruto and Bleach!
Me: What about other anime?
Otaku: There are others?
Me: Of course. If they were the only anime in the world, it'd be really boring.
Otaku: Of course not! Ichigo is so cool!
Me: Seriously, if that's all you know, then-
Otaku: My favourite jutsu is Shadow Clone Jutsu! [does fancy hand signals]
Me: ...
Otaku: [jabbers about Naruto and Bleach and how cool they are]
Me: Ahem...
Otaku: [continues]
Me: HELLO?!
Otaku: [keeps on going]
Me: Wow, only fifteen minute passed? Might as well let this guy talk to waste time.
Otaku: [talks for an eternity]
[some time later, a bell rings]
Me: Finally. Thank you for wasting our ti- I mean coming here and having a splendid interview. Good bye.
Otaku: Bye! [still jabbers about it]
Me: Just get out of here!

Post-Interview: Well, that was annoying. I could already tell this was going to be a great interview by his 'Naruto Rules!' cap and 'Bleach Rox!' shirt. This is the type of otaku I hate, the loser who goes on and on about Bleach and Naruto, says he knows anime, and when asked what else he watches, he just discovered there are others. That interview was supposed to be about other anime, but I guess they picked the wrong guy. The worst part? If you remember the title, it stated that it was Day 1: Hour 1, as in, it's only the first hour! I have three hours for three interviews today, and it's only Day 1. Sigh. Why did I take this job?

I spent two hours just to make a good response on the interview, and I read this. haha Kawaii.

Yours was a big reply so we're using it as a solo one in the next issue ^-^. We got alot of small replies like the ones above so we're doing them in groups hehe.
