i have only done this once... and it's a funny story

i was evacuating hurricane katrina and on my way to florida, and i had spent almost 16 hours just getting out of new orleans... and was tired.. well at this gas station that had a baskin robbins at it.. we all stopped( was with my husband and friend hopf) and my husband told me to get something and gave me cash... i wasn't quite awake and i just pointed to some ice cream cuz i think.( i wasn't awake fully so i have a foggy memory of this i was later told this lol) and i walked out ice cream in one hand cash in other... and i was in parking lot in view of window for almost 20 mins.. they never once asked me for the cash!... i never was charged... though looking back they probably thought i was a tad slow or mute... lmao

I almost walked out of the store with an energy drink. I caught myself though, thankfully.

A shirt. Noticed it when I got out but didn't bother going back in to pay for it.

My friend walked out of Barnes and Noble with a book she didn't pay for (on accident) so she called them later and they said to pay for the book anytime. She never paid for it.

well this is actually not only my fault, but i wanted 2 ps3 video games, then when i took it to the cashier, she told me the price and i never had enough, so i only wanted one and told her to return it. she still printed the receipt with the second game's name on it and left it (the second game) at the bottom of the bag under the first game when i wasn't looking, forgetting to to return it. as soon as i went out into the car that's when i noticed the game and i was like "oh crap"......oh well. 2 games for 1 payment. accident, but lucky me!

When I was 4 or maybe 5 years old my Mom went over to the next store over and asked the cashier to watch me until she got back. I had a VHS tape in my hand at the time and when Mom left I followed her with the VHS tape still in my hand. When she realized I followed her and that I had a tape in my hand she didn't pay for we went back and she bought it for me and the cashier was like "You could go to jail for stealing" and Mom said not to do it again and that it was bad and she would spank me next time I did.

I don't remember ever doing that. I might have walked out with something before.

I walked out with a stick of deodorant. When I got home, I realized this and went back to the store to pay for it lol. The cashier looked at me like I was a nutcase. I mean, she's not wrong, but I can't in good conscience steal.

A volleyball Set that was on the bottom of my cart, true story... but technically it wasnt me but my parents a few years ago. We ended up going back to the store and paying 70 dollars at Sams Club. How does someone miss something hanging off both sides of the bottom of the cart???
