I think they could have come up with another name. Plus since they ave "After School" in their name they're always gonna be compared to After School. I like the guy on the right, though. lol his name is Jong Hyun? Awesome. I like him even more sorry I'm Kim Jong Hyun biased lol.

Pledis has revealed pictures of the members of After School Boys, the male version of After School.

Of the members, Jonghyun rapped in U-ie's solo song SokSokSok and Dongho was in After School's Play Ur Love. The group will debut at the end of this year, so for now check out the pics of After School boys. The pics are taken in a Pledis practice room with their manager/trainer.

Pledis reveals a closer look at the Pledis Boys



Pledis Entertainment has finally removed the veil from thee male version of After School.

Pledis Boys, formerly known as After School Boys, have been a hot issue even though they have yet to debut. The public got a chance to get a closer look at the 7 Pledis Boys on November 21st.

On this day, Pledis Entertainment unveiled the Pledis Boys through their agency family album titled, “2011 Happy Pledis“. In the picture, the 7 members (with one unidentified young girl trainee) are flaunting their clean cut look as they smile to make their first greeting to music fans.

Particular interest has gone to the fact that there were a couple familiar faces in the group. One of which was MBC‘s “Birth of a Great Star“‘s Jang Do Yoon, who was also called the 2nd Jung Yong Hwa. The other familiar face was Jong Hyun who made a 3-second appearance on KBS‘s “Hello” and became a topic of interest on the internet for about 3 days.

The Pledis family album “2011 Happy Pledis” will be released on December 1st and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.

"Pledis Boys" recent Ceci pictorial attracts fans' attention



With Pledis Entertainment officially not revealing information about their upcoming boygroup tentatively called "Pledis Boys" or "After School Boys", netizens have continued to be keen about the group's activities. This time, they've been given extra attention because of the group's recent photospread with Ceci Magazine, together with the rest of Pledis Entertainment's artists Son Dambi and After School.

The winter-themed photospread features "Pledis Boys" in a warm and charming concept together with Son Dambi, After School and trainee Park Junghyeon.

Since the release of Pledis Entertainment's "Happy Pledis" album announcement and official photos, netizens have continued to talk about "Pledis Boys", who is dubbed to be the male version of After School. Despite not having official information from the agency itself, fans have already created a fancafe for the group, while some continue to research information on the possible members. Fans are already in full support for the group, as they expect a strong and dashing debut from the group.

Two members of the group are only known as of now. Specifically, Jang Doyoon who was a contestant from MBC's "Birth of a Great Star" and was dubbed to be the second Jung Yonghwa. Jonghyun had a short participation on KBS's "Hello".

Pledis Boys reveals more pictures ahead of their debut



As the clock ticks down towards the unveiling of Pledis Boys, the rookie group has finally revealed their faces ahead of their official debut next year.

The pictures were released as a way to express their thanks towards their first fan cafe, which had just opened online. “They’re pictures taken at their music video shooting,” said Pledis Entertainment. “The boys released the pictures as a way to show their gratitude towards their first fan cafe prior to their debut.”

The never-before-seen pictures showcase the various members of the upcoming boy group as they take a break between the rigorous shooting of their music video.

The ‘Pledis Boys’ will participate in this year’s holiday album, “Happy Pledis“, before a full-fledged debut early next year.

‘Pledis Boys’ reveal their official name: NU’EST!



Pledis Entertainment has finally revealed the name of their newest boy group!

Known initially as the Pledis Boys after doing promotions with their seniors, Son Dambi and After School for their Happy Pledis 2012 “Love Letter” single, they have been officially named as NU’EST and will debut soon as a 5-member group.

This was announced by Pledis on the 17th together with a teaser photo of the 5 members. The group name NU’EST is an combination of NU (New), E (Establish), S (Style), and (T) Tempo and is said to hint at establishing a new style of music.

Pledis revealed with confidence, “NU’EST will be debuting in early March, and although they will be the 3rd rookie group after fellow boy groups like EXO and B.A.P to debut, we are not worried and will not be hasty with their debut because they have the talent and looks to succeed.”

NU’EST’s leader JR’s teaser image revealed, “Not your average 18 year old”



Pledis Entertainment‘s new boy band, NU’EST‘s leader JR‘s teaser photo has been released on the 18th.

JR stands for ‘Junior Royal’, the bright background lighting combined with JR’s charismatic look on his face accentuates the leader’s strength. Unlike the cute image that had been made public already, JR’s look on the teaser is not that of an average 18 year old.

JR is the first male trainee of Pledis and his talent as a dancer is highly respected, enough so that he trains other trainees as well. Aside from his amazing dancing skills, JR is also known to be a skillfull rapper.

JR has already made a TV appearance on KBS’ ‘Hello’ in their ’3 seconds’ segment, drawing attention from the viewers.

Pledis unveils NU’EST members Minhyun and Aaron



Pledis Entertainment has recently unveiled the leader of their new boy band NU’EST, JR, who was received very well by the netizens. On the 19th they have unveiled two additional teaser images of members Minhyun (above) and Aaron to the world.



Minhyun (18) resembles actor Lee Joon Ki and even his build is very similar to him. His personality is said to be wild and charismatic. With his handsome looks, tall height, and stylish fashion sense, he plans to work not only as a singer, but as a model as well.

Aaron (19) was picked up during the ‘PLEDIS USA Personal Audition’ with the highest score of the event. Thanks to his amazing vocal skills, PLEDIS picked him up on sight right after the audition. Aaron exudes sexiness and suave that will surely go hand in hand with his silky smooth voice.

Recently, we introduced one of NU’EST‘s members, Minhyun.

After Minhyun’s profile picture was released, netizens have been buzzing over his strong resemblance to actor Lee Jun Ki, especially from the movie “The King and the Clown“.

Netizens pointed out that Minhyun’s eyes and nose looked similar to Lee Jun Ki’s. Some even drew parallels to their sharp jawlines. Many agreed that the two could pass for twin brothers.

After months of anticipation, upcoming boy group NU’EST has finally introduced their entire group by revealing the identity of their final two members, Baekho and Len!

Previously, Pledis Entertainment revealed the faces of Minhyun(18), Aaron(19), and leader JR (18). Now they’ve rounded out the crew with Baekho and Len.

Ren (seen on the left) may look a little feminine, but he’s reportedly the mischievous mood maker of the group. Meanwhile, Baekho exhibits a more powerful image with his sharp jaw line and focused gaze.

Rookie boy group NU’EST is planning a Valentine’s date with their fans!

Although they have yet to make their official debut, Pledis Entertainment‘s first boy group has been receiving much love and interest after they revealed their official name and profile pictures.

The boys want to return that love by setting up a special date with their fans for the very first time.

Fans will get the chance to go see a movie with the NU’EST members. More information can be found on their official fan cafe as well as their Facebook page.

Representatives of Pledis remarked, “We have a few other events planned where the fans will get to meet with the NU’EST members, so please continue to show them your love and support.”
