Quest for Osama bin Laden’s body
Posted 6/13/11

A man has invested a fortune in a diving mission to find Osama bin Laden’s body and prove to the world that the al-Qaeda terrorist is really dead.

Professional treasure diver Bill Warren from San Diego, California, will spend next month exploring the depths of the north Arabian Sea for the watery remains of the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks.

Using sophisticated technology, rented diving boats and a submarine, estimated at a cost of $400k (£250k), Mr Warren and his team hope to track down the body of bin Laden.

So what are your thoughts?

I think it's a complete waste of money. I dunno whether to laugh or cry. Sooo much money being wasted on some publicity stunt.

Good luck to him. He'll definitely need it.

Pffffthahahaha reminds me of Titanic. He's hardly the Heart of the Ocean but fuck....good luck to the crazy dumbass. I'd spend that on a fast car and get a personalized numberplate with the rearrangement of Osama Bin Laden's name which is "Lob da man in da sea"

Osama Bin Laden's body dropped 55 feet from the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson into the Arabian Sea. According to the Pentagon, the corpse had been washed and placed in a simple white sheet in accordance with Islamic practice. It was then sealed inside a weighted bag and laid on top of a board, which was tilted until "the body slid off into the sea."
The Arabian Sea is warm and teeming with sharks,etc....
All this must have been video recorded by those in command aboard this huge vessel....so what does this man hope to find?

He would have better luck searching for the great white whale..Moby Dick..

The US Navy wasted to time in splashing the corpse of Bin Laden into the sea to sleep with the fishes..so someone must have suspicions
about the death....but too much cold cash....

Most of the time they don't find people who are lost at sea when they start searching THE NEXT DAY.

Also, I can't believe people still care about this bullshit >.< (And by this comment, I mean the dude wasting his money on this, not any of you)

No grave means nowhere for Osama's people to cherish as a sacred place, and I imagine his grave would have lots of troubles. By dumping him in the sea, they made him insignificant so to speak.
