Term of Kuudere:
One of the newer neologism, a kuudere rounds out the —'dere' family in a rather basic way.

What this means depends on the character, But usually implies the character is not very openly emotional and regards other people cynically (a 'cool' outlook, rather than being popular). The difference is while the tsundere is underlied by immaturity and openly abrasive, the kuudere is only indirectly frustrating or indifferent. There's a much higher chance kuudere are older, and may be accompanied by a more energetic (or annoying) Morality Pet wanting to emulate this graceful mature character.

Occasionally this is a trait of the true Emotionless Girl, added deliberately by writers or projected by fans.

Compared to yandere and tsundere, the kuudere has a higher chance of being either gender.

Examples:

Term of Dandere:
Dandere is an abbreviation of だんまりデレデレ[danmari deredere]. だんまり[danmari] means to be calm or to shut one’s mouth up all the time. And デレデレ means, you know, such a sweet attitude. She doesn’t speak at all mostly, but when there’s no one else but you two, she would be sweet to you. In other words, she would be in deredere-mode.

Examples:

--------------------
So, do you know any other characters that fall under these two categories?

Kuudere = Emotionless/stoic.
Dandere = very shy. will only act when they are encourage or someone back them up

Actually there are three versions of Rei Ayanami. 1.)She's a kuudere in the original version 2.)she's a dandere in Ikari Shinji Raising Project 3.) a normal High School Girl in Neon Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel 2nd. This is the only version of Rei were you'll see her smile from the bottom of her heart.

The best example of a Dandere is Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto while Rei Ayanami and Eucliwood Hellscythe is the best example of a Kuudere.

I always thought Misaka Mikoto was more of a tsundere.

OP wasn't clear about her examples but I think she was talking about Mikoto Misaka's clones which is a kuudure.

Yeah, I'm guessing that's probably what she meant as well.

No Senjougahara as kuudere? I am disappoint. Although... She seems to be more of a borderline tsundere with some yandere-ish features.

Eucliwood Hellscythe is definitely a dandere. Haruna is the typical tsundere and Seraphim is a kuudere. That's why Ayumu has to be zombie. A normal male lead would've been killed by those three by episode 2.

Senjougahara is definitely not a Kuudere. She speaks WAY too much. She is a mix Tsun (lampshaded in the anime - "Tsundere-service") and yandere, when she can and does go crazy because of love.

Some types of Kuudere's talk a lot, you realise. There's two main types, the silent treatment one, or the cynical one that calmy walks away when you're getting attacked. It's dandere's that are silent all the time.
Senjougahara fit's perfectly as a cynical kuudere.

I admit I am wrong. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So, let me get this straight. Kuudere are extremely cold with some of the things they say, but that's just a shell since (possibly) they won't reveal their kinder nature to many? I ask because, I'm very blunt with people I feel are threatening or jerks and though I'm a goofball, that AND my concern for some people are rarely shown in public.

I think that's the best summary I've seen.
