We have a great lineup this Fall.

There is one missing anime in that list, Gundam AGE. But that anime is something of less importance... Even the new gen Gundam fans think it's crap.

Countdown is now showing Shinryaku!? Ika Musume for October 2011, one year after the original series premiered. This is also reflected in the the second version of the Neregate chart that was released today.

Regarding C3, after reading the description, I feel that watching the first episode of Asura Cryin just before beginning to watch this would give one a feeling of deja vu.

The quality of the trailer and the director makes me think otherwise. Also there's a comment on the ANN forums that says:

I haven't read any of the manga (or played the games, as the case may be) associated with any of these shows in the anime lineup, so I'm having to go based off of descriptions...

Plan on watching:
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon
Coppelion
Persona 4
(Shakugan, if I can find the earlier seasons?)

Will give a try and see what I think:
C Cube
Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai

Will watch OVAs, as I watched their series:
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira

Anyone know anything that might make me change what categories I've put these series in?

I would check out Mirai Nikki too. It;s a pretty interesting thriller series going from the manga, and since the manga finished last year the whole thing will probably be covered

Awesome. I debated that one, so I'll look into it too. Thanks!

I will try to watch these series (as long as their simulcast): Fate/Zero, Guilty Crown, Coppelion, Shana III and Persona 4. I know that I am also going to watch Last Exile, since Funimation's going to stream that series at the same time that it's going on in Japan.

As this topic hasn't seen any activity in a couple of weeks, I thought I would contribute with a few idle thoughts.

While Fansub Wiki lists the studios for all listed Fall 2011 shows save one, and networks for many, none thus far list TV Tokyo as the primary network. Looking at the list of those that have yet to list a primary network, we have:

Fate/Zero
Mashiro-Iro Symphony
Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere (Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon)
Tamayura ~Hitotose~
Working'!!
Shinryaku!? Ika Musume
Kimi to Boku.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!!
Mirai Nikki
Shakuagan no Shana III (Final)

Ben-To
Cross Fight B-Daman

Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing (Ginyoku no Fam) also has no primary network listed yet, but it has already been licensed by Funimation.

Shinryaku!? Ika Musume will likely be TV Tokyo, as was the first series, and can be considered to be an "automatic" simulcast for Crunchyroll.

The previous two Shakugan no Shana series have had different primary networks (TV Kanagawa for the first, MBS for the second), so for all we know, it could wind up with TV Tokyo as the primary network (good), or TBS (bad). While some might think that Funimation would simulcast this, keep in mind that despite having had the license for the second series for at least a year, they have yet to stream a single episode. At this point at least, I see no obstacle to CR obtaining it as a simulcast.

As the first series of Working! was not simulcast by anyone, and NIS America has already licensed the first series, I put the odds of CR simulcasting this as very low, and the overall odds of a simulcast by anyone else as low.

Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere is from Sunrise, so it seems likely Bandai would handle international distribution and licensing for these regardless of what the primary network is. (Although I note Gintama is from Sunrise, but is licensed by CR from TV Tokyo). Sunrise is also the studio for Mobile Suit Gundam AGE (MBS/TBS ), Battle Spirits Heroes (TV Asahi), Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle (NHK-E). Hmm...Sunrise certainly seems to be busy for the Fall.

Any thoughts on these or the titles I listed above that I made no comments on?

Do you know which anime is from Kadowaka that has been announced? Since that likely will be simulcasted but likely delayed if this season is any indication.

Sorry, I usually do not start seeing indications as to what series Kadokawa is handling until much closer to the season. Typically the first clue on that front is when the previews start coming out.

If an anime is based on a manga published by Kadokawa, that seems to increase the odds they will be involved in licensing the anime. Checking those on my "no network yet list", I see they publish manga for Mashiro-Iro Symphony and Mirai Nikki.

Fansub Wiki appears to be down at the moment, so even if I decided to take the time to run the same check for the Fall 2011 series that have a network listed, it would be rather inconvenient to do so.

It was actually confirmed last December:

...and was confirmed as coming out this year by February 2011.

If you want a reliable peak into the future past the next season, just visit this page from time to time:
