I'm new to this forum, so... HI

Anyways, i would like anyone to recommend me some anime. But the thing about it is there's a few animes that don't really catch my interest. I'm looking for an anime that doesn't have your typical genres. I really can't stand cutey anime crap, anime that's typical with a typical storyline.

I have a very strange preference but i'll try to explain it better. i would first like to discuss animes that i dislike. No chobit crap, no love stories, no animes that are about martial arts (though i like very violent animes), no animes that revolve around high school BASICALLY.

Now on to some types of animes that i like. i love animes that are articulate in the sense that it's very difficult to comprehend at first but manageable. i like animes that have futuristic robots but i dont' like gundam seed. In general animes that are more mature and have a very intelligent atmosphere. i know i said "no romance animes" but what i really meant was no i schooler love romance.

i'm very tired at the moment because i'm a insomniac person. as you can tell by the awful grammar displayed above me with little encouragement of want to re-edit this. well, i leave it to you guys to figure my style and here's some animes that i liked:

Ghost in a shell
Hellsing
Cowboy Bebop
Blue Gender
FLCL (i know they're kids but it was so weird that i liked it)
Full Metal Alchemist (anime with good intelligence)
Gantz (mature enough)

PS: anime with good art quality wins a lot for me.
PPS: and why does it seem the animes that look good are licensed on CR? isn't it better to remove them instead of having someone be like, "that looks good but it's licensed x_x" or would they be changed into unlicensed later?

i like most anime types i prefer darker ones and gorey ones like d gray man, ghost hunt, elfen lied, darker than black and ghost hound i also like others like sokou no strain, some gundams

i have seen a lot of the animes on crunchyroll could u recommend me any of the liscensed animes because i havent checked those and most animes are easy enough to find if you look in the right places
