I have some suggestions for you.

Blue Seed is a good action anime. It's not too long, but it has a good plot.


If you like vampires with a twist you could check out Blood+. It's a bit longer.


There's also longer anime I think of that go along well with FMA and Soul Eater:

I want something completed, because I don't want to wait for any new ones. I hate not knowing the ending. I also don't want something I've watched before, nothing to similar. I want new, different exciting. Everything is so similar, the harems the annoying character similiarties etc. It's ridiculous watching an anime that is exactly like one you've already seen.
One where I can really ship the main couple. Like something with an amazing couple that even has a fandom name, like Amuto? Yeah :D

You could try "Sekirei" and "Freezing".

Have you tried "Hanasaku Iroha"? It may not have as strong a romance aspect as you like, but it does cover your other categories pretty well. Plus, it is completed and on CR. :)

Looking for anime similar to Cowboy Bebop and FLCL that have very high quality animation. Doesn't matter what genre. I know the two above were originally anime and probably why their quality is so high, but that doesn't need to be the case either. I understand Bakemonogatori might be a candidate.
