Hi SonicGenesisKing, I see that you request 3 recommendations, I'm not sure if I understand what exactly you're looking for, but I hope this animes help you. 1.- For the Autistic trait, but still good guy, I only can recommend you the manga Watashitachi no shiwase na jikan Our happy hours), it's about a person condemn to death sentence, and wants to talk to nobody, until he get to know a person that understand his feeling. Great story, and character development, unfortunately there is no anime adaptation for this manga, but still super recommended. Here the synopsis: http://myanimelist.net/manga/11734/Watashitachi_no_Shiawase_na_Jikan 2.- For the cute anime, but still not frail eyes, I recommend the 3 seasons of Aria, starting with Aria the animation. Beautiful animation and Music. I hope you talk about some anime like this one. 3.- And for the Third, Sentai recommendation, I'd like to recommend you Tentai Senshi Sunred, I just finish the first season and I enjoyed a lot. There are a lot of great sentai animes out there, almost all of them ell known, that's why I recommend you this one. Is very unusual plot, based on a light comedy similar of gintama, where the hero is actually a bully and the villains are very considered and very good manner. I hope this help you to choose the next anime you'll watch :D Good luck. |

Tabriz_7 wrote: Hi Windry I'm curious about both of the animes you recommended, actually a tried both of them, but dropped them after a few episodes. Talking about this "mindfuck" term, I think both of them can be describe like that, but I really felt like there was more gore/Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or more horro/Another. Still, I keep feeling that I'm missing something good, specially with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, so, do you still recommend me Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, even if I don't specially like gore? Greeting, and good luck. Ya, you should definitely watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. I don't like gore either. I generally close my eyes every time it's there, and I would never watch a Saw movie. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni starts off like a true psychological horror, but ends up being more than just that. There are a few scenes in the anime that have a lot of gore, or are very disturbing, but it's really not the backbone of the anime, and I still highly recommend it. Another is more of a typical horror/dead bodies kind of anime, but I really liked the mystery that it presented, and the pacing of unraveling the truth. |

Ok then, I added it on my list of anime to watch, I will imitate you and close my eyes on the disturbing scenes though XD. Thanks for your time, I hope I read you again. Greetings. |

You already mention one of the best of them, Claymore. This anime has epic fight scenes, using a little bit of gore on the way to achieve this. But "Gore" is not strictly needed to do it. This is a list of the most EPIC animes I've ever watch. -Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood -Kara no Kyoukai (There are 7 movies, but the number 5 has specially epic fight scenes) -Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (the serie) -Rebuild of evangelio movies (2 so far, holding breath for 3.0) -Hajime no Ippo (both seasons) -Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen -Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica -Summer Wars -Red Line -Sword of the stranger -Fate Zero (both seasons) All this animes have the Epic fight essence, plus they are considered good animes as a whole, I'm sure there are more shows that could be on this list, but I hope this ones are enough to you so you can peak one for your next anime to watch. Good Luck. |

Hulu and Funimation are the other 2 legal sites I go to. It's kind of sad that crunchyroll has lost licenses to a lot of the older anime they used to have here =/. Crunchyroll is still very good for watching anime produced within the last year though. |

robopadre wrote: Windry wrote: I HIGHLY recommend: "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" (When the Cicadas Cry) "Death Notes" a good one too, but not really that scary. many people like "Monster" I've already seen/played Higurashi, I read Deathnote and don't like the anime, but I'll check out Monster. Others you might consider: - Ayakashi has some traditional Japanese horror stories. - Blood: The Last Vampire and the follow-up Blood+ are pretty good - Shiki is a very good twist on the traditional vampire story - Deadman Wonderland has its problems, but still has some good horror/action elements - Monster is definitely good for the psychological element |
