I would love some recommendations of some anime's that are currently available on the crunchy roll service. I like comedy / romantic stories with action. I loved DN Angel (my absolute favourite anime), and I'm really enjoying Sword Art Online. I also like fun anime's like Ouran High School Host Club and Love Hina. It's always great to find an anime that makes you bust a gut.

If anyone has any recommendations I would be very appreciative :).

- Darker Than Black {Great plot, characters, fighting scenes, art};
- Gundam (00, Seed, Destiny) {Plot, characters, mecha fights, drama, art of 00};
- Macross Frontier {plot somewhat (didnt like the music theme) characters, mecha fights};
- Gunparade March {plot, mecha, characters, focus on everyday lives};
- Evangelion {almost everything BUT the final episodes.Also shinji is a cry baby, so i'd rather reference the Evangelion Remake.};
- Muv Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse [ongoing] {This show is the definition of awesomeness for me, i played the main VNs also};
- Sword Art Online [ongoing] {Very awesome, although a bit cliche, but i'll forgive this show, it's soooo good};
- Campione! {the fight was not excelent, but good. The harem was fun, good comedy/echi, although i try to avoid it};
- Code Geass;
- Guren Lagan;
- Fullmetal Panic! {Excelent plot, mecha and characters};

Genres/stuff i like
- Mecha (i avoid super robot, but if it has, ok)
- Action(i don't like over the top abilities, but if its good, ok)
- Romance
- Drama
- Seinen (shounen is ok too, but preffer seinen)
- Newer than 2004 (mostly art related)

Ok genres/stuff
- School life (it doesn't matter really)
- Slice of life (same as above)
- Ecchi (i like to avoid it as much, but havint it is no problem. I hate oversized boobs.}
- Summon Parter (animes where they fight with a monste/partner mainly. I'd tag it as Not Ok, but Some are good.)
- Earlier than 2004 (if it really good, i can live with it)

Genres/stuff not ok
- Yaoi/Yuri/derivates {personal preference. on the top of my "avoid" list}
- Childish plot/childish protagonists {16+ is preferable please}

Don't mention these, just in case
- Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tale, Pokemon, other Gundam series.

Breaking any/all of these requirements is ok if the anime is really good in your point of view.

No problem. Specific helps a lot! I think you should be willing to try stuff before 2004, but for now, I'll keep my recommendations to more recent anime.

For mecha, you'll definitely have to try Code Geass and Gurren Lagann.

For Action, I'll also recommend Mirai Nikki.

Eureka Seven - mecha

Cowboy Bebop - future space bounty hunter

Black Lagoon - mercenary gun battles

Death Note - psychological thriller

This story line was ....ok... I finished it.. But nay.. I say Nay to it! I just knew it all that was going to happen -.- Can the love triangle.. No no -.- But I knew it was all coming from the start. NEEEH!!!!! The story in general was ok but the love triangle was odd . I wanted Safu to Live but I just knew that was going to happen and then then boys nehh! Idk man idk...

First thing that comes to mind is School Rumble, but I wouldn't call it an anime with a strong male and female lead.

Suzuka has a male and female lead, but I haven't seen all of it yet, sooo... (this is hard)

There's Working! (also known as Wagnaria): in my opinion, its more comedy than romance, but of the three suggestions I've given, I'd recommend this one. If you give the characters a chance, they'll grow on you.
