I'll try again, though I have a feeling I know who's going to answer.
I want something AWESOME to watch. It's been a frustrating week, and I just finished two really great shows. I need something to move on to. Needs: Action. A little humor. Interesting characters. Plot is less important. And I don't want anything that's too slow. Also, NO HORROR. Not interested in slice-of-life. Basically something just on the deeper side of popcorn flick. Full Metal Panic, Fate/Stay Night or City Hunter would be close to what I want, but I've seen them. Prince of Tennis was fun, a little on the light side. Full Metal Alchemist would be ok, but a little on the dark side. Does that give a fair guideline? |

Here are some suggestions; Samurai Champloo D. Gray-Man Hunter x Hunter Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Code Geass Hope you'll find them as enjoyable as I did :] |

Also you might like Toaru Majutsu no Index, Shakagan no Shana, C³, Air Gear, Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica or Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S. Warning: most of these have a Tsudere character. |

Warning: most of these have a Tsudere character. :) I read all of Air Gear, not all that interested in watching it. I love tsunderes, and esp. the Rie Kugimiya style twinderes a lot, but SnS never really grabbed me. I made it through the first... 20 eps or so of the first season. I just watched the first episode of Toaru Railgun a couple nights ago, and it seemed pretty fun. Maybe I'll keep going with that, then move on to Toaru Majutsu. Unless you think I should go with Majutsu first? Something about Busou Renkin always put me off. But I'll give Polyphonica a look. tofukins wrote: Hmm. Here are some suggestions; Samurai Champloo D. I don't really want to watch the new one till it's over, or nearly done, since I know the older series' ending was considered poor by a lot of my friends who read the manga. CG was a little too dark for me, though it was excellent. TTGL was... great to watch, not so good the second time. It really needs that innocence to just enjoy the spectacle. |

Also looking for an anime with soothing music.
Examples: Fields of Hope (Rie Tanaka via Gundam Seed), Euphoria (Yui Makino via Aria The Natural) I am quite the sucker for sweet tenderness. |

The soundtrack is beautiful. Especially 'My Most Precious Treasure' - brings a tear to my eyes whenever I listen to it. The OST to Mushishi is also pretty good, the story is also pretty interesting. In terms of animated movie, I suggest Origin: Spirits of the Past. Both the opening and ending theme is pretty or if you're just looking for a soothing song, "Who's Theme" (Minimi) is wonderful. It comes from the anime Samurai Champloo. |

narutoshippudengirl: Anymore detials you could provide as I could think of several but it all depends on your tastes but for starters try the following:
Slayers (it's all of what you are looking for), though you might have to find it on DVD or on FUNanmation's website. Also if you can stand Ecchi, check out Familiar of Zero, thouguh you will need to find Seasons 2 and 3 as 1 I think might be on FUNanmation's site and the final season can be watched here. So to sum it up here are at least 2 animes for you: Slayers Familiar of Zero |
