I need a new slice of life Romantic comedy anime to watch. I've seen pretty much all that I can find...

I like school life anime that is grounded in reality for the most part. A little bit of mysticism is ok with me (like Clannad), but alien/robot girls are a little bit played out for me, and I do not like the "magical school" format either.

What I have seen so far:

- Man, that's a pretty substantial list. Not much I can add to it, but I have a couple. Does it need to be set in school? The ones that I can think of right now would be Paradise Kiss, Gokinjo Monogatari (once again, the animation is dated, but it is still very good)Honey and Clover (set in an art college), and Princess Jellyfish (not set in school. Characters are college age). I don't think I put down any duplicates. Also, have you tried Kids on the Slope? It's here on Crunchyroll and I thought it was good. I don't think it is considered a romance show, but it had some in it.

I have three.
1.I don't even know if it exists, but are there any good shows about hospitals or doctors? I found that in a lot of shows, the doctors are my favorite characters (Fruits Baket Dr. Hatori, Shiki Dr. Toshio, Monster Dr. Tenma). I also enjoy American shows like Scrubs and House.

2.Any good shows that are focused on music? Something like Nana? I would prefer something that is not about a high school girl trying to achieve her dream of being a pop star ( ala Searching for the Full Moon).

3. Any good monster shows? I finshed Shiki recently and fell in love with it. I also fairly enjoyed Claymore. Preferably not something too graphic, and not something that is mostly a romance show (like Vampire Knight), but I wouldn't mind some romance.

I watch alot so I can find almost any genre minus Mecha

Anything Similar to Sword Art Online? i Wanted to Watch another Anime While waiting for Sword Art's Next Episode.

anyone that can suggest me some romance anime? iv watched quite a lot and starting to run out but was hoping that you guys could help me find some good ones!

I thought I added a new anime to my queue and can't find it. Don't remember the name. It has dolls in it, bjds. " Dolls" is not in the title.
Does anyone know what this anime could be? I think it has 6-8 episodes so far.

Any other suggestions of anime titles that have dolls (or puppets) in them are welcome. Have seen Kamisama series, the one with the puppet master and his Bunraku punk puppet who solve 4-5 mysteries. I saw one is here that sounds similar and is not the same artwork. :blink:

Yes -- I liked Seikirei or however it's spelled.

My favorite has been Naruto, from the beginning. It bears up under repeated viewings as the plotting is quite nice; flashes characters appear who appear later, foreshadowing, mysteries of relationships. Good characters, animation, dialog, and background art. It bogs down later with the loss of some characters (for me, in whom I was invested) and more development by committee in response to fan favorites, voting surveys over time. By "later" not until it gets into Naruto Shippuuden episodes, and my favorites in that are the review "filler poop" episodes.

Good anime movies are Paprika and uh...when I remember, I'll say so. I get them confused, so describing content won't help.

What are some that you saw and really liked? A few romance animes I can recommend off the top of my head are Honey and Clover, Kimi ni Todoke, Kare Kano/ HIs and Her Circumstances. Some romantic comedies that are good are Toradora!, Ouran High School Host Club, Arakawa Under the Bridge (I think that one is more comedy than romance, but is a good show).

Some currently airing good ones are Say I Love You (more of a tradtional romance show, but still very good) and My Little Monster (a good ole RomCom).

Are you watching any of the simulcasts right now? The Pet Girl of Sakurasou is a definite should watch (didn't see it in your list)

I'm sure this is a futile request but...

Basically I'd say I'm looking for a shoujo romance maybe with comedy which is more along the lines of Skip Beat... I think I've practically seen every shoujo anime that would match up to it. These are some of my favourites: My Little Monster, Earl and Fairy, Special A, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! Kimi ni todoke, Vampire Knight. I don't like ones like: Nana, Bokura ga Ita, KareKano,Peach girl, Paradise kiss or the ones aimed at like 10 year olds. Honestly I've seen too many to list but I guess I can say I've seen an insane amount of reverse harem anime (which isn't what I'm looking for right now). I've seen random romance anime like Toradora and Ginban Kaleidoscope. Other shoujo romances I've seen are like: Chihayafuru, Lovely Complex, Inu x Boku, Hana yori dango, say i love you, the list goes on...

I don't mind watching a shoujo shounen-ai romance like sekaiichi hatsukoi but if it lent more torwards yaoi like junjou romantica then that's bad... I also liked Uraboku ( didnt even realise it was shounen-ai when I first watched it). Id prefer not to watch shounen-ai if there's still some good shoujo romance out there still...

In a nutshell what I'd want to see is something like skip beat which isn't typical shoujo and is funny. Also if there is a good rom-com which isn't shoujo then I'd love to hear it. Sorry for the long complicated request but there might have been something great out there which I am completely oblivious to [:
