hmm... with romance in there i'm not quite sure...

Thrillers - Ghost in the Shell, or Un-Go
Psychological - Mirai Nikki or Higurashi.
Romance - (manga wise: Kimi no iru Machi) Besides that, Say I love you: Clannad

Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade hits every tag except tsundere.

It's a movie though, so it won't give you a ton of material to work through unless you watch it more than once.

It's not hard to do that, though. It's -really- good and has an exceptional amount of depth.

Here's a good list you can browse as well: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Seinen

Most of the titles I'm seeing that'd fit your criteria are manga, but there are anime listed as well. Worth a look at least.

Cowboy Bebop would also most likely qualify, although the romantic interest is played up in a rather late arc.

As well as Ergo Proxy (cyberpunk, has tsundere), Gantz, Millennium Actress (probably a stretch of what you're looking for), Mnemosyne (much closer to the mark), Paprika (another movie), Psycho-Pass (although the romance is implied rather than acted upon, a bit like Ghost in the Shell), probably Wolf's Rain (although I haven't seen enough of it to say for certain), and Zetman (although the manga is miles better). Others can probably pick out a few more.

I liked the distinctive art style from Zetman, though.

I also want to say Berserk for Guts × Casca, but that's not much of a psychological thriller until a guy goes insane.

Don't want to say who for that one person out there who doesn't know the story of Berserk yet.

Berserk is more dark fantasy than psychological thriller, to be completely fair. Griffith's character arc gets intense though, so I could see it being similar to what you might be looking for, although it's a bit of a genre-jump.

Just expect it to crush all your hopes and dreams if you watch it.

They've been rebooting the older anime series as movies; two of them are out while the third is awaiting DVD release.

It also helps if you don't mind jumping to the manga continuation afterwards to reach some small solace.

Otherwise, it'll leave you at a pretty rough patch.

And I know you said Seinen already, but the third movie scored Japan's equivalent of an NC17 theatrical rating.

So... you're warned.

okay guys I have a request for something to watch after I catch up to one piece which I have around 100 episodes left but I'll watch that in a week during summer break. I've also caught up or finished Bleach, Naruto, Toriko, HxH, and both FMA's. What should I watch along the guidelines these shows use.

Looking for something similar to Sword Art Online. Just finished Accel World and didn't think it was as good. Anybody have any suggestions?
