Can anyone recommend some good animes that are available onsite? I'm looking for some new ones to watch but I'm not sure at the moment!

Animes I've previously watched and enjoyed include Deadman Wonderland, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Attack On Titan, Free, Silver Spoon and The World God Only Knows. I enjoy romance animes the most however I'm open to new things. Oh and I'd rather not start anything with more than 30 episodes, I'm not good with commitment...

If you've got any suggestions, would you please also be able to include a brief summary of them too? It'll help me decide a lot easier!

Summaries are available on the show pages underneath the main illustration. You can right-click on the links and open in a new tab or window, then close that when done and not lose your place...

/ano-natsu-de-matteru
/5-centimeters-per-second
/dusk-maiden-of-amnesia
/kokoro-connect
/natsu-no-arashi-
/toradora

Or you can browse yourself by genre:
/videos/anime/genres

Most of those aren't available in my country which sucks haha but I've found one that looks pretty interesting so thank you!

Instense action anime. Love dark stuff. Currently into Hunter x Hunter, Mushibugyo (though not so dark), and Attack On Titan. [edit] Also loved Fullmetal Alchemist [edit]. So I guess serious, dark, action anime. I also really liked Hiiro No Kakera, even though that was a bit more romance. Suggestions?

Hey! So I watched a lot of anime back in 2007, but stopped watching it for some reason. I now have a trial membership so I was wondering what you guys could recommend. I imagine a lot of good series have come out since 2007!

I loved Death Note, Serial Experiments Lain, Haibane Renmei, Time of Eve, Chobits, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Azumanga Daioh. Are there any similar animes that you think I would enjoy?

If you have some recommendations, that would be awesome! Thanks!

Give Steins;Gate a try. It's my favorite anime.

It starts slow, but it's worth it in the end.

Hello! I am looking for a good action anime to start. I am already watching the obvious Attack on Titan. I am also in the middle of Toradora!, but I want to watch some more action/adventure anime.

I have watched [in the Action genre]:
Sword Art Online
Dragonball & Dragonball Z
Mirai Nikki [Action Horror is GOOD]
Yu-Gi-Oh! [Japanese version, ITS HAS GUNS][plus Season 0]
Hellsing Ultimate
Angel Beats!
Black Rock Shooter

I will gladly appreciate any recommendations! ありがとう!じゃ、まった!

Shin Sekai Yori (CR)
Bakemonogatari (first 12 episodes on CR, last 3 somewhere else >_>)
Mirai Nikki (Hulu/Funi)
Psycho-Pass (Hulu/Funi)
Fate/Zero (CR)

I hope that's a good start. You've been missing out on some great stuff while you've been out I mainly gave you psychological animes, based on what you listed.

If you need something a bit more light-hearted, The Devil is a Part-Timer! (on Hulu/Funi) is a really funny comedy.

Pretty much everyone saw Sword Art Online (CR) when it came out recently, and it's still commonly talked about. Before you succumb to the hype or the hate, I'd suggest giving it a watch. I thought it was really good myself. Attack on Titan (CR) is also insanely popular, and comes highly recommended.

And yeah, Steins;Gate (Hulu/Funi) is kind of the bomb.

Magi (on CR)
I really liked this show as it was coming out. Surprisingly good action from time to time, and surprisingly heart-warming when it needs to be. It's by the same studio as Sword Art Online.

A Certain Magical Index (on Hulu)
This show is home to some really epic punches, and generally epic action wherever needed. It's got a really good cast of characters and a spin-off series that's even better.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (nowhere, legally >_>)
Lots of people can complain that action shows have too much in-fight exposition, and that the characters talk too much between punches, or that they scream too much in general. This show is nothing but that, and it's so hilariously good. The show has the potential to make anything ever epic. Has really good music and animation.

Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? (CR)
An unassuming show that is surprisingly a whole lot better than it's stupid name would suggest. The action scenes are great, courtesy of the really OP main character.

Any of these are really fun watches, so I hope I could help you there. I guess I'd recommend Magi first, if you're not sure where to start. After it picks up around episode 4, it's hard to go wrong with that one. Plus we're getting a new season in like 6 or 7 weeks :3

Thank you so much! Rsaj as well! :D

Unfortunately none of those seem to be available on CR. I guess most shows aren't available in Europe... (Maybe I should have figured that out before..)

Uh, so I might have to resort to less legal ways of watching these, because they all look really awesome (Especially Steins;Gate!)

But thanks a lot for your suggestions, I really appreciate it!

Want an anime similar to toradora.
Genre: romance, slice of life , comedy (not extreme comedy that happens every second)
Do not give me an anime with ecchi. I hate ecchi..
I've seen:
-Aishiteru ze Baby
-Bokura ga Ita
-Clannad
-Clannad After Story
-Kimi ni Todoke/ 2nd Season
-Kimikiss Pure Rouge
-Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo
-Nodame Cantabile
-True tears
-kaichou wa maid-sama
-zero no tsukaima
Probably left out some animes.. this is all off the top of my head.
Replys would be much appreciated. Thanks ^_^

Looking for a show that will get me back into anime, a show that has me hooked from episode one, then makes me feel something at the end, maybe make me cry, lol, I'm kinda in an anime slump and I want a show that will motivate me to get watching again. Genres, maybe romance, adventure, actually preferably a little romance, but at least a cute girl here and there, but besides that, all I need is a good ending (a sad/ crying one) and a little bit of girls and romance, decent animation, I guess.
