Hey all!

I am looking for a new anime to pick up. It doesn't need to be an ongoing series or long.

I typically end up liking anime that are action, but have a bit of romance in them. I loved Sword Art Online, and am currently out of attack on titan to watch.

I also like slice of life anime. I enjoyed Say "I Love You" and Clannad.

Does anyone know of some touching sentimental anime, or really good action romance anime? I am also picky about the design that goes into it too. I really like the look of Sword Art Online and Bleach.

Thank you!!

Any other animes with a love triangle? No harems or just one girl and one guy I just like to see competitions of a triangle. The best I've seen is shakugan no Shana and c3 cube x cursed x curious.

/kimi-ni-todoke (though it leans heavily more 1:1)
/chihayafuru (which is just freakin' great)
/my-teen-romantic-comedy-snafu
/yuyushiki (comedy triangle between girls)
/maoyu
/oreshura

I guess /valvrave would also fit. You might also like Kamisama Kiss (FUNi, female lead), but for some reason, I can't of too much else that's good outside of CR. I am glad every time I get a chance to recommend Chihayafuru, so thanks for that.

I'm In need of GOOD horror Anime. More on the Horror Mystery Side, I thought Another was a good series. But i want to see some more that are possibly better or just as good.

Echoing the person above me, I'd like some recommendations on horror anime as well. Only shows carried by CR though please. I've already seen Another.

On CR, there's /yamishibai this season. Some past shows are: /shin-sekai-yori has a horror feel; /total-eclipse just looked horrific; /dusk-maiden-of-amnesia; /the-mystics-archives-of-dantalian is slightly horror; /gosick is a bit of a horror mystery.

Outside of CR, Ergo Proxy is another show that could be described as a horror mystery. King of Thorn is a relatively recent movie that includes some horror elements alongside action. xxxHolic and Hell Girl are a couple other shows that might fit.

Horror is one genre that isn't well represented in anime, unlike action, comedy or romance.

I totally noticed that. But anime could be extremely horrific when done correctly.

/the-pet-girl-of-sakurasou (this could count as a triangle as well I'd say)

I was on the fence about suggesting it, actually.

I don't know if this goes here, but I'm wondering if anyone would have anything to say about an anime I'm interested in.

I finally found an anime that I haven't heard of named Ghost Hunt. I was wondering if anyone had any information on it and a rough rating they could give on a 1-5 scale. I'm undecided on whether or not to watch it so I'm looking for help.

Romance/shoujo(doesn't really have to be shoujo)/slice of life(against doesn't have to be there), but I really like the more lovey-dovey series with not as much drama and where the couple usually doesn't use 30 episodes on getting together. I suppose something along the lines of Say "I love you" and Kimi ni Todoke? except for the pace in the latter.

His and Her Circumstances (on Hulu)
Clannad and Clannad After Story (also Hulu)
Eureka seveN (so long as you don't mind some robot battles)
Toradora (bit of drama, Hulu)
Kamisama Kiss (very much shoujo, Hulu)
/gosick (supernatural mystery)
/my-little-monster (comedy)
/utakoi (I thought it was a bit tough to get through, but each episode features a new romance, and you'll get to learn a bit of history through poetry)

I'd recommend /chihayafuru as well, but 50 episodes in, and still no real romantic progress.

Thanks! This gave me a set of options for quite a while I really appreciate it.

Hey all.

I'm looking for a true Yuri anime. I've seen Blue Drop, Strawberry Panic (loved it), Sasameki Koto (OK), Aoi Hannah (Manga was better but still a good series), and I think that's about it. Any suggestions would be great but I'm looking for one with dating and them being a couple. I guess the best example would be an anime like the yuri manga Girl Friends if it exists.

Edit: Nothing like Kannazuki no Miko... hated it.
