Tarantula. It was either that or roasted rat. 
It tasted like a hairy chicken....well the skin part of a chicken.
I can't look at my Bro's pet Tarantula 'Timmeh' without being reminded of that now. I may eat him one day....stupid 8 legged shit....look at it in that cage....waiting for a good roasting.... |

I've shared rattlesnake I killed with a Hopi Indian in AZ.
Looked like rodent ka-bob from a street vendor and frozen monkey brains in Thailand.
Had both dog and cat in Korea as well as a snake venom shot to increase stamina.
I had grasshopper, worm, and potato bug stew during survival training in army,
and a double handful of goldfish at a party.

I have eaten from street carts in Mexico so it could have been anything but it was tasty.
But I have had rattlesnake and scorpion and things like chocolate covered grasshoppers. Rattlesnake was pretty good. It didn't taste like chicken. It tasted like a cross between fish and chicken. |

Ehhh...I've eaten a lot of weird things....ostrich(yum), sea snail(eww), squid(does that count?), cow tongue(eat it a lot, it's surprisingly good with sauce), duck heart, ehmm... a lot other. ^-^'

many kinds of birds, including doves (no, not the ones you find in the city lol)
they were very tasty but some rather small (I used to hunt them myself with my uncle's rifle, and I've killed a bunch of rare ones LOL, didn't know they were rare back then)

I keep adding kangaroo to my grocery list but no one ever packs it. SO what I do is order 10kg of kangaroo meat then a milk. . This way I reach the minimum purchase for a free delivery and I don't pay any more than $3. |
