i have had squid, octopus, frog legs, shark "deer is different for some as well" and other things. You can't eat the same old shit all the time.

I'd say moose because it's kind of rare in other countries but it's pretty normal here. Deer is also pretty normal and also hare. Moose is freaking delicious, if you ever get the chance go for it.
Weirdest has to be ostrich, can't remember the taste though
Or barracuda, they look so freaking scary... but it was good

Well It also depends on where you live, down here in the south frog legs are more custom for people in farming/rural areas. Hell I went to south Carolina this summer and had two things that are not even available in my state. Fat-back and boiled peanuts

Sorry, I was trying to point out that octopus, frog legs and squid are not exotic food to me. But living here, people tell me that pasta, casserole and boiled potato are foods that I am suppose to eat

alas, the only "exotic" animals i've eaten was cow tongue and fried pig skin.....
but i guess pig is normal....
