I'm totally Shizu-chan. Shizu-chan and I are one.

Speaking of which, because all are one with Russia, everybody's Russia. So there.

I would probably be the extra character who never gets a line in any anime, and looks ridiculously plain. Yet there are several people who look exactly like me, except they're in all these different anime series. In other words, I am omnipresent.

The narrator! lol. At least I'm omniscient and sometimes I have my own air time.

You would be... The supporting character which brings out the awesomeness/strangeness/other random things of the main character... A character that every anime needs to have.

Or you could also be... a Kyon-like character who suddenly gets surrounded by a random person who does random things, then suddenly more randoms turn up, and you realise that you actually enjoy the way your life turned out.

Speaking of which, has anyone else noticed that the male protaganists in anime have started to look the same lately?

Also... My friends also try to compare me to Konata...

There's no point saying it's a duplicate if there's no link.

Lol, that's nice. Incidentally, you're a cross between Konata and Fuko, like a hyperactive otaku. And male protagonists have always looked the same.

I'm like Kaoru Yamazaki from Welcome to NHK.
I Love my hobbies with a passion. I have a Mellow personality, but I get angry if I have to. And I stubbornly stand up to what I believe in

You've got his character wrong. He loves his hobby of making 'games' because he is resisting against his parent's decisions. Also note that, although not apparent in the Anime, his original character before being tuned down for a wider audience, such as in the Light Novel and Manga, consisted of him getting angry and crazy because of Drugs.

He DOES stand up for what he believes in, but his personality is everything but mellow.

From that description, you are more like Tsuna, from Katekyo Hitman Reborn (watchable on Crunchyroll), excet he doesn't really have hobbies. And he's useless at the start of the anime... (he gets ownage later though).

I see bits of my personality in different anime characters but not enough in any one of them to say that I'm definetly like any of them.

Yeah your right, he mite not really be mellow (I was thinking of myself when I said that).
I also could have explained all that about his hobbies but I got lazy and kept it short enough to relate to me.

And I was actually thinking of Tsuna too! I just chose Kaoru because I almost look like him more then I do with Tsuna.

That's not really surprising... What's surprising is how your OWN character changes as you watch anime. Before I started watching anime and reading manga, I was quiet, relatively attentive in classes, and with a slight inferiority complex. AFTER I started though... As can be seen from the top quote, I've changed into a more, ongoing hyperactive person, who gets other people to do things for him.

Sooo... It can be concluded that people will take in personality traits from anime characters which they like personality-wise, or like through what they do, e.g. being random. Or it could just be me. There's also the possibility that I used the excuse of being exposed to these more "unique" forms of multimedia to change my character and personality.

It's your choice. "You've always had the freedom of choice. You have wings that allow you to fly freely in this universe." "There is no meaning in a life which is chosen for you."

Self-satisfaction for anyone who can figure out where the two quotes came from.

I see were your coming from. I watch anime for pure enjoyment and nothing more. My personality is already established and I'm comfortable with it. But on the same hand, if you feel that you have grown personally by watching anime then I don't see anything wrong with that either.
