Do you play an instrument?
Then you probably like to brag about how cool it is =)
So post your instrument/amp and show it to the world!

I play the drums, Pearl Ex to be exact.

What a cool-looking guitar! What kind of music do you play?

Umm, overall, I guess I would describe my personal style as melodic garage rock.

Cool! Do you play on a Marshall amp to get that sweet crunch?

I play on a Fender DeVille. Which I think sounds pretty awesome. Though I never play it as loud as it can go. I want to because I think I could get even better tone with it turned up more.

That's a nice amp. I think the whole "more volume = better tone" is common amongst most guitarist but I don't think that matters. Perhaps it's more about the amp itself.
One of my guitarists has a Bugera 333 amp. He usually have the volume up to eight-a-clock (around 20%) and it sounds amazing! We play progressive metal btw.

My amp starts at one and it never gets past two on a scale of 12. Yeah, it's not a big concern of mine but just looking back I've never played past two. Not even at a show or anything.

Yeah, if I may so, it seems like metal or hard rock is really popular in Scandinavia, why do you think that is, or moreover what do you personally like about it?

Well I can't speak for the whole country but where I'm from ,Gothenburg, bands such as In Flames, At the Gates and Dark Tranquillity has developed "The Gothenburg-sound". It's a form of death metal which is more melodic. These bands and sound has become very famous so most local bands play this kind of music, making them famous for a few months.
So everytime I tell rockers abroad about where I come from, it's "OH! In Flames/At the Gates!"

This is a "curse" I fight everyday, trying to show the world that Gothenburg is more than just thrashy verses and melodic choruses.

I think I'm gonna stop ranting now XD

I live near Kansas City in the middle of the U.S. We certainly don't have a stylistic sound because the genres are pretty well represented. Though, I can't even name a big band or artist from KC at the moment.

I also play the clarinet and piano so I don't think playing any instrument is lame. I've recently just thought about trying to learn how to play the violin.

I'm mostly a bass player, though I also play guitar, but I'm far more comfortable playing bass, as I've played it for a year and a half now.

There she is~
