While Toho owns the rights in Japan, they've given the movies to several different stuidos over there years in other territories. Most of those still retain the rights on their dubs, or have kept the licenses on the titles themselves. I know you can watch some of them online already if you have a Sony Movie Channel account on with your cable provider. It just sucks because I do things like pay for CR instead of buying cable, so that's a no go for me. It'd be awesome if CR could be the go-to place outside of Japan for all things Japanese pop-culture. Godzilla certainly fits that bill in my book!
