I don't drive, but the utter lack of respect for speed limits that some people have annoys me immensely.

And I hate when a car speeds off immediately after a light turns green. Or speeds up when it turns yellow. Slow down, y'all. The world is tragic enough without yet another death by stupidity.

I usually do, but mostly because I like to cruise and listen to the radio.

Really depends on where I am. If there are no speed cameras then I will drive 10 miles over. Sometimes 20 on the highway

Speed limits are a guideline for people who haven't played enough GTA.

In town yes, on the highway and interstate no. The numbers are arbitrary and subject to political whims, so I am not sure what bearing it has on being safe. I believe most states set interstate and highways speeds by the 85th percentile of driver speeds when they do consider a change. Illinois, where I live just got around to raising their speed limits to 70 MPH after playing politics with it for years.

Depends, when I'm driving my motorcycle, I usually only got a few mph over the limit, and on the highways, I tend to go too much over the speed limit, but never get caught :P. Other times, when I get pissed off at traffic, I go around, even at a intersection, because I tend to be very impatient, especially with dumb drivers.

I go 5-10 mph above speed limit unless there's a car in front of me, or when I suspect there's a police nearby.
It's so frustrating when someone drives under speed limit, more than those who exceed the limit imo, it should be illegal as well

If you want to drive the speed limit, stay in the slow lane and stop causing traffic congestion due to some personal moral issues.

But why should I get stuck behind a 45 mph truck in the slow lane? As long as I'm not driving below speed limit, I can go any lane I want. I have no problem with you if you want to speed just as long as you don't kill or injure any innocent people, and don't cry if you get a citation.

And it depends on the circumstances as well- if you go 70 or 75 on the 65 limit freeway when there's no cars and you are driving safely, I don't think that's a big deal. If you are going 45mph next to a school with many kids then of course that would be really bad.

Same here. Gotta be careful in places with many people and kids. I always try to slow down when I'm near schools or parks where I know that kids are running around. As a driver, I don't only have to be responsible for myself but for other people as well.

Traffic depending I go the posted speed limit +10kph. If I'm unlucky and get a traffic cop that wants to ticket me I'll pay the ticket but most of the time they let you "get away" with the sign +10.
