Always at least 5 over speed limit. Speed Limits exist for shitty drivers.

If I'm in small cities, where there's a greater chance of little kids playing in the yards and stuff. I tend to do anywhere from 0-5 over the speed limit. Otherwise, normally I drive 7 over, unless I'm in an area that I need to keep pace with traffic. Where they are doing 80-85 in a 65mph zone.

most of the time, but it depends. If the speed limit is 50 mph but there too many cars, im probably doing 30-35 mph. If its a wide open highway with like 2-3 cars and the speed limit is 55 mph, im probably hitting 75 mph. I use my common sense and try to be safe, if speeding is too risky I dont do it.

I've never understood this, but when there is a police cruiser driving along with you, why are people doing 10-15 miles under the speed limit? As a cop, I would be suspicious of a driver going extremely slow in my presence. I tend to believe the person is hiding something, maybe a warrant, expired license or no insurance. You think you are outsmarting the police by driving slow, but all eyes are on you. Legally, you can be pulled over for obstruction of traffic at the least in some cases. Be smart when driving around a cruiser, just drive as traffic dictates, maintain a reasonable speed (not going 35 or 65 in a 50), and stop trying to "police' the streets yourself by holding up fast drivers. All you are doing is putting your own life at risk (aggravating another driver) over something that is really an officer's job. Is the risk really worth it, stopping the other driver from being pulled over?

I wish my mom would get a ticket for driving too slow. She's so d@mn slow I could get out and move faster on foot. She's also still afraid to drive in the rain, off main roads, and at night....and to be my passenger when I drive.....and she's been driving for decades!.....She's like, "Ahhh! You're driving too fast!" Fast? I'm going the f*ck*ng speed limit! I think people who are too scared to drive shouldn't be driving at all. She also thinks she "owns the road". Needless to say, she got me in my first accident. She still doesn't STFU when I'm driving, so usually I let her drive, as torturous as that is. I'm screwed either way. I avoid going out with her like the plague.

I only go about 5 mph over. If it's raining I usually just go the speed limit, if it's a hard rain I go 5 under. This place is notorious for hydroplaning and really bad accidents when it rains. There are seashell bits mixed into the asphalt, (I live in a beach town) so it gets really slippery. I think they did that to be cheap.

Weirdest accident was when a dude was driving inland with his window open and a wild turkey flew in, hit him, and made his car flip off the road, the guy died. Now if i go that way I go with the windows closed and look out for wild turkeys. We have deer and black bears to look out for here too.

Not really. nobody seems to care either. but it's usually only 3 or 5 more mph then the legalized speed limit. it's honestly not a big deal.
