This is awesome news. More anime publicity! I hope they don't ruin it though. Hmm.. It's Hollywood.. Maybe I'm asking too much.

Thoughts? Comments? Rants?

Edit: Sorry if AP.

Whatever.... This movie WILL fail very badly! Hollywood has a habit of making an utterly horrible adaptation. So why wouldn't I give them another chance? Because they've failed to faithfully follow the original material or at least to a certain extent.

This isn't "Hollywood". It is Warner Brothers Pictures Japan, which is about as "Hollywood" as any other Japanese production company.

Oh I was wondering why they chose a Japanese actor to do Kenshin's part. So this is the reason.
Still, Japan did Death Note therefore I'm not gonna expect too much.

So much for the publicity.....

I don't think a movie could cover much of the story unless its in 2 or 3 parts. I'm not expecting much but it could be much worse if it was american made.
