Hello guys! I am doing a market research survey for my project. Please help me gather votes, thanks!

What do you look for in a body soap and why?

Please choose one and if you would like to add more benefits please do so. For example you choose Moisturizing and Anti-bacterial, please state if you want to add like an anti-aging with it. Thanks!

Don't forget to leave your age because I need it. :)

I appreciate your time to vote. Thank you guys!

Well, I may be a skew on things, but my first choice on body soap is cost. If it's cheaper, I'm more likely to get it. That aside, if cost is not a factor, anti-bacterial is the most important of the options by far. My skin doesn't dry out at present, so moisturizing would be a non-factor. But... I don't quite get what you mean by whitening for body soap? That's usually something I'd associate with toothpaste. And if you dare state that I could use it as a toothpaste substitute, I'd run away from it!

As for other aspects, I really can't think of any. If it's something that doesn't really apply to me (as in the anti-aging example), I'd actually be more likely to go to something with fewer features, going on the adage of "jack of all trades, master of none." I'd rather think it's a stronger anti-bacterial than feel that it's diluted with other things I don't need.

If this is of any use, my age on my profile is correct. I have not yet voted in the poll for a further clarification on the whitening aspect.

I'm sorry if you were confused about the whitening aspect. I live in the Philippines and whitening soaps are in demand right now. Filipinos are so obsessed on getting their skin fairer than the usual skin tone.

Moisturizing and anti-bacterial. I have very dry skin, so I need soap that will accommodate this. One time back in college, I decided to get this one kind of soap because it was quite cheap and it came in a large pack (as a college student, you need to be careful with money of course, so this deal was nice). Needless to say, it did not moisturize, and it just made my skin feel like it was on fire after using it.

So yes... As long as the soap that I use moisturizes and is anti-bacterial, then I'm set. That's all I'd ever need. Anti-aging is nothing I would even consider, as most people think that I look like a 19 year old as it is. And yes, my profile age is correct. 27 years as of this post today.

Anti-bacterial, of course! Moisturizing is just a nice bonus for me.

Okay, that whitening concept for soap is a new one for me. And given that the pastier parts of my skin burn easier, I think I'd also have to consider whitening as a detrimental feature. So I'll be firmly in the anti-bac and moisturizing camp, given 2 of the 3.

Anti-bacterial is most important to me.
