Only if its financially viable, which it wasn't. And they cut anime short all the time; its a marketing tactic to get people to buy the manga volumes to see what happens next.

to be fair fairy tail did as bad as deadman doing but it got renewed for another year since it increased manga sales so if it increased manga sales it will be renewed.

What? Fairy Tail was getting great TV ratings in a prime time TV slot, beating out Naruto and Bleach every week. Thats the reason it got renewed. Its gone down recently to the point Naruto is beating it since it got switched to a Saturday morning timeslot and likely will not be renewed again once this season is over, but thats beside the point.

Deadman Wonderland is a late night TV anime that got a 12 anime timeslot that Manglobe had to buy, since its viewed as an advertisement timeslot. These types of anime live off of DVD sales, not ratings. The DVD sales they made back didn't even crack the rankings, since they did so badly. It was pretty much a giant flop overall.

Manglobe is already in a pretty bad financial situation, so I can't see them making anything right now that isn't guaranteed sales, and a second season of Deadman Wonderland just isn't financially viable for them to do in their current state.

Deadman Wonderland started pretty strong but kinda taperred off.. and there is much more that needs to be done.. so Im down for more.. I dont think I'd buy it on DVD though...

I will however get Stein's Gate as soon as I'm able.. love that one.

This is good news, any release would make me happy. I'm just hoping it will help get a season 2 out there for viewing.

What do you mean by "If" it's true? It is true. Funimation announced that they licensed the series as a last-minute announcement at their Anime Expo panel along with Steins;Gate.

Not any time soon, as Netflix does not place anything except dubs on Netflix. As the DVD is not scheduled for release until 2012, don't look for it on Netflix until then.
