So, the Summer season anime shows have already started airing, shows like Sacred Seven, Kamisama Dolls and Natsume no Yuujinchou San which airs tonight have already started and there is no official announcement by CR as to which anime series will be broadcast over CR. What shows do you want here on CR and which will make the cut??? What do you guys think?

I am personally rooting for:

-Natsume no Yuujinchou San***
-Kamisama Dolls***
-Usagi Drop***
-Blood C**
-NO.6*
-Sacred Seven*

This season is not the most exciting one to date, but I am really looking forward to the ones I listed.

Three have already been announced on the con that they are attending ( Kamisama Dolls, YuruYuri and season 3 of Natsume Yujin-Cho) and they ran a banner for Usagi Drop. Blood C is going to be streamed by niconico.com so Crunchy probably won't get that.

However Crunchyroll do need to get their act together and put up a proper announcement page like last season. Natsume will be showing today so they need to pull finger

Crunchy has already announced Natsume no Yuujinchou San, Kamisama Dolls, and Yuriyuri at Anime Expo (see here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-07-02/crunchyroll-streams-natsume-3-yuruyuri-kamisama-dolls ). Bandai revealed at Expo that Crunchy and Hulu will show Sacred Seven: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-07-02/bandai-ent-adds-gundam-00i-manga-lucky-star-boo-boo-kagaboo. Blood C will be on Nico Nico's new English site: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-07-01/niconico-english-site-lists-6-summer-anime-titles. Whether Nico Nico's stuff will be exclusive to them remains to be seen. Since July 4th is Independence Day we probably will get official announcements on shows tomorrow. They'll probably announce titles that was annouced at Expo on Tuesday.

The only problem with waiting till tomorrow is that some of these shows (for instance Natsume and yuriyuri) are actually out now. They have really dropped the ball here unfortunately. Natsume was supposed to be Simulcast on the 4th.

I read about the announcement at the expo, but since they had yet to post it here on the site as they had previously done before, not a lot of hype as to this season shows. So I am a bit skeptical, as to their announcement at the expo.

There are like ..... 3 threads about this? Oh GAWD.

So basically 4 or 5 were confirmed:
* TV Tokyo shows (Natsume, Yuruyuri, Kamisama Dolls)
* Usagi Drop
* Sacred Seven

7 shows remains to be confirmed.

Usagi Drop wasn't confirmed, it hasn't been confirmed and it may be confirmed later in the week. As of now, it may be on Crunchyroll.

Blood C will blow hard.

Just because CLAMP had something to do with it means it will succeed. [/sarcasm]

There are probably multiple threads because everyone at Crunchy seem to be AFK somewhere. It is a holiday in the USA today but still, it is a bit poor considering that at least one of those announcements was supposed to be streaming today.

Also, while they have announced those 3 shows at the con we still have no idea was to what regions will be getting those shows. We don't all live in the USA here :S

I can't imagine its very productive to essentially troll their customers with not announcing what they are doing, which is essentially to the point we are at now. Why can't they just announce their full lineup a few days before the summer season starts? Thats what they've always done

Crunchyroll has had a lineup page up since before AX, but have yet to place anything in the "New Simulcast Titles". Normally, the first 3 boxes would have been filled in soon after they announced the 3 titles, and dates would have replaced the "TBD" on at least a couple more boxes. They would have also created a topic in the Site News section of the forum for the announced simulcast, but none of that has happened.

Frankly, given that the time the first new episode for Natsume was to have been posted is now well behind us, I doubt anything will be done until Tuesday morning.

To be fair, YuriYuri is not scheduled to be simulcast until tomorrow, despite the fact it aired close to 7 hours ago in Japan. The delay seems a bit suspect, however, given that it is a TV Tokyo series. Given that they announced the incorrect date for Kamisama Dolls, it is possible they got it wrong for YuriYuri, as well.

Kamisama Dolls actually airs in Japan at what will be 9:30 AM PDT on Tuesday, so the 10:30 AM PDT Tuesday time slot announced for YuriYuri would actually fit it quite well.

It is probably fortunate for CR that today is a holiday, so that only a fraction of the normal number of people are online. That coupled with not posting any of the usual publicity here on the website for the announced simulcast means that the number of people that are aware they've screwed up is much smaller than it otherwise would have been.

It will be interesting to see if CR acknowledges these errors, or ignore it, and leave most people with the impression the simulcasts were announced whenever they get around to posting the information to the site, and the simulcasts were scheduled to start when they get around to posting them.

Thanks for that link. I haven't seen that one put up on the site.
