I wanna discuss all of them with the members(And I guess Moderators, Support Reps, Administrators and others if I missed any).
I see somethings I would like to change, if you guys have any suggestions of any kind, let me know in this thread, some of us read the rules and terms of service that didn't fit right.
Please sit tight and enjoy, I have a few things to say, and then some, I won't say it all in the opening post but I'll say it gradually.
I study Law and Government quite a bit, and I know a little bit myself.
I wanna start with the terms of service. Crunchyroll probably doesn't know what it's own words mean(I can tell they really don't).
I pulled this from their Terms of Service.
We will pay you referral fees on a monthly basis for Qualifying Products shipped in the applicable month. Approximately 60 days following the end of each calendar month, we will either send you a check for the referral fees earned. If you select payment via check, we will accrue and withhold referral fees until the total amount due is at least $100.00. We are obligated by U.S. federal law to obtain tax information from Program participants who are U.S. citizens, U.S. residents or U.S. corporations and from Program participants who are not U.S. citizens or residents but whose businesses are taxable in the U.S. If we believe you are a Program participant from whom we are obligated to obtain tax information and you do not provide this information to us after we have requested it, we may withhold your referral fee payments until you provide this information or otherwise satisfy us that you are not a person from whom we are required to obtain tax information.
Now I can see where this poses problems for plenty of people, knowledgeable in law and government, They didn't disclose which United States they were talking about, and they said they are obligated by U.S Federal Law, Which could have meant Uranus Supermonkey, Believe it or not, there are plenty "countries" With the Acronym "U.S".
Also, Citizen means you're enlisted for duty, like Military or Air Force, it has responsibilities.
And if Crunchyroll believes you are a program participant they will withhold your fee payments, you must provide the information or satisfy them you aren't a person. from whom we are required to obtain tax information from.
First off, no one here is a person other than Crunchyroll themselves, Persons aren't a "whom" and not everyone is obligated to taxes, which is still up in the air because there is no indication of "U.S" they're talking about, "United Spacemonkeys"? "Urinal Scheme"? "U Suck?" It's still up in the air as of now.
And it has no guidelines for anyone who isn't a person, or in service, because I'm not planning on going to the Military.
Crunchyroll needs more explanation if they want $100.00. Federal Reserve Notes out of my non-person pocket.
I have lots more to say, but I wanna hear you guys thoughts and opinions on how terms of service and Forum Guidelines rules should be and what's some good suggestions.
Forum Guidelines also has rules only for persons.
See you Starside.
In before the lock.
I'm sure your vast experience at 15 will help you make more productive threads in the future. ^^
