Third season, actually. No need to wait if you are a premium user, as the first episode was posted yesterday, so I sent you a 48 hour guest pass.

Only three more new titles for the summer? Well there is an awful lot of continuing series, so I guess this makes sense.

These were just the first 3 announced. Even the lineup page shows 10 slots for new series, and in their panel at AX, Crunchyroll stated there would be 12 new simulcasts joining 13 continuing ones.

Yeah I see the new notice. Thanks.

You have to add Germany to the list of viewers of Natsume Yuujinchou!!!! The quality at cr is always top, but they force me to watch this season somewhere else!!!! But I am excited about the 3rd season either way!!

LICENSED

Ro-Kyu-Bu! (Sentai Filmworks... no announcement for simulcasting)

Still up for grabs....
with additional info in this format (studio, premiere date, TV Station, time, other notes)

Double-J (DLE, 6/28, Nippon TV, 25:29 note: only 4 minutes per episode)
Blade (Madhouse, 7/1, ANIMAX, 22:00, note: probably will be passed on just like the other superhero shows)
MonHun Nikki Girigiri Airu Mura G (DLE, 7/1, Kids Station, 22:54, note: kiddie show)
Kami-sama no Memo-chou (J.C. Staff, 7/2, AT-X, 23:00, note: involves drugs, so simulcasters might skip this)
Ikoku Meiro no Croisee: The Animation (Satelight, 7/3, Chiba TV, 24:30, note: historical slice-of-life)
Morita-san wa Mukuchi TV (Studio Gram, 7/5, KBS Kyoto, 25:30, note: only 3 minutes per eipsode)
Nyanpire The Animation (GONZO, 7/6, Kids Station, 22:54, note: only 4 minutes per eipsode)
No. 6 (Bones, 7/7, Fuji TV, 25:15, note: noitaminA block)
The iDOLM@STER (A-1 Pictures, 7/7, TBS, 25:25, note: just like the game)
Mayo Chiki! (feel., 7/7, TBS, 25:55, note: combine the maid/butler high school comedy genre with cross-dressing)
Mawaru Penguin Drum (Brain's Base, 7/7, MBS, 26:10, note: new show by director Kunihiko Ikuhara of Revolutionary Girl Utena )
Manyuu Hiken-chou (Hoods Entertainment, 7/10, TV Kanagawa, 25:00, note: think Samurai Girls)

I expect to see No. 6, Mawaru Penguin Drum, Mayo Chiki! and The iDOLM@STER all picked up for simulcasting... since No. 6 is noitaminA, I'd expect to see it with either Crunchyroll or Funi (since CR already has the other noitaminA show, Usagi Drop); I can't see simulcasters completely passing on the overly hyped Mawaru Penguin Drum unless it's not put up for simulcasting at all...; Mayo Chiki! just has that typical simulcast kind of feel... the rom-com... someone always picks these up (same with The iDOLM@STER).

Shows that will probably get passed on.... Kami-sama no Memo-chou could possibly get passed up on because of the drug element of the plot... it has also already started airing (7/2 with a one hour special) and the ecchi and "there has been a show like this every season for the past 2 years" factor of Manyuu Hiken-chou could cause it to be left on the sidelines too. Honestly, how many big breasted samurai shows do we need?

Oo just wanted to watch Kamisama Dolls, but it's disappeared again for my region. Wasn't it supposed to be licenced worldwide, except for Japan, South and North Korea, for premium members? Cuz i am a premium member and living in Belgium :P

It's the same for Yuri Yuri

1. Countdown shows the next episode in just over 2 days, 8 hours from when I posted this.

2. It is listed on the lineup page as a continuing simulcast title.

Yes, and now it has started again.

Unless the production staff in a series are either supremely confidant they will get another season, or just don't care about screwing over the fans, they will "tidy things up" near the end of each run of the season, just in case the series does not return (because more often than not, they don't).

For the record, this is the third Natsume series. The 26 episodes that were already here at CR were the result of the first series that ended a season before CR went legit, and the second series, which started in January 2009, just as CR became fully legitimate.

I assume you mean you need the rights expanded to cover your country, since Crunchyroll already has the series.

What country are you in?

apojo wrote: Just finished the first episode of YuruYuri. I've never really seen a "Yuri" before but this wasn't exactly what i expected. From the wikipedia page about the Yuri genre i expected some kind of lovey dovey romance thing, but what i got was Lucky Star except with perverts. I love Lucky Star more then any romance so I look forward to future episodes. I just hope they don't get too perverted as the show goes on.
Yeah, thing is that yuri is not so much a genre as an element in different genres, so there are shonen shows with yuri elements and shojo shows, and seinen, and etc.

Problem is, its a fairly small dedicated fanbase, so while it can support a range of yuri manga in Japan, a much narrower range of yuri anime seems to get produced.

I'm the flip side of the above ~ I love a good yuri storyline, and have very little interest in plotless "cute girls doing cute things cutely" shows, so I checked out at the 6min mark, since the yuri in it seemed so clearly going to be pandering to otaku obsessed with schoolgirls ~ middle school girls at that. Basically take Erica Friedman's withering review at the Yuri-oriented Otakan, and multiply by 1.2 to get my reaction.
