I wish I lived in america. Two series aren't available in my region. I bet it was those Anime on Demand freaks again. @crunchyroll please shut down their site and steal their shows.

Will try Usagi Drop and R-15 seem interesting, overall Usagi if they are going to release a live action movie as well. The story seems to be strong and emotive.

you can watch the shows legally but you still complaining... that really makes a lot of sense.
i really wonder how this licencing process is working. i can understand north america but how come nearly all of the northern europe countries and brazil can get licence for every title? what is the reason behind a company chooses portugal among all other european countries to give licence?

I am a premium memeber there too, but their site is really ugly and hard to navigate so I would rather watch them on crunchyroll.

My guess, and this is just a guess, is that the Japanese licensors don't see much value for their titles in those countries, allowing companies to pick up licenses at a lower cost than North American countries. Again, simply conjecture, not fact.

AoD are ruining legal anime streaming for UK members, CR was supplying the UK market just fine now with extra unnessary competition theres a clear devide in the licenced streams :(.
I can probbly afford to have a subscription for CR and AoD but its totally unnessary to pay for two sites to get the same level of content i was before AoD appeared, guess its back to fan subs again.

I originally thought this might be an error, as it shows the same release date for both premium and free members. Also, unless I made an error yesterday when updating my "Summer 2011 Anime" topic initial message, the simulcast was originally set to premiere on Saturday, July 9.
That said, when I was composing this message, I checked on A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives, which finally has the day and time posted, and the box for the first video. It too, shows a similar delay, and the same release date for both free and premium members. I expect the same will be true for The Mystic Archives of Dantalian.
It appears that Kadokawa is giving NicoNico an exclusivity period on all videos, and Crunchyroll has decided release the episodes at the same time for both premium and free members, so as not to further punish free members.

I really hope it's just a mistake. A delayed release defeats one of the main benefits of premium membership, and is hardly a "simultaneous broadcast." One of the reasons I purchased a membership was to alleviate the fansub drama; it'd be frustrating to find out that it's just flavored differently through simulcasting.

Keep in mind the alternative offered by Kadokawa may have been no "simulcast" of these titles at all.
It is sheer speculation, but CR may have passed on Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise as a way of trying to get Kadokawa to back off on the one week exclusivity for NicoNico, but when that failed, they agreed to it for the other 3 titles.
On the positive side, premium members at CR will still reap the benefits of higher resolution (NicoNico.com simulcasts are currently only 360p), and both free and premium members will be able to access the episodes after the first week (only members can access them on NicoNico after the first week).
