I would be worried if simulcasters were steered towards timed exclusives more often, because if I did want to watch it right away and discuss with folks, I'd just download it. It just doesn't seem like a wise or even necessary move from Kadokawa in my eyes, assuming this timed exclusive thing isn't a mistake.

I was wondering about this myself. And even if it is speculation, it's an entirely likely scenario. /sigh It seems I'll just have to watch them on Niconico in hateful LQ, since I know my friends won't bother waiting for the good stuff to hit. At least I can still justify my Crunchy subscription with the other stuff they have here that'll be out on time.
