....the amount of realism and emotion being displayed is beyond me.. this is what something means to be an art-form, also for those don't know this anime/manga is written by a mother of two... hence the amount of effort being put in. Oh guys feel free to have these gifs..

I liked the fact that.. Okay come on who in their right mind DIDN'T see that coming? with Daikichi being late to pick up Rin? I mean It was going to happen right with the cliché.

And yet I didn't mind, it was just done really well. - I mean since he was just a single worker then there's no problem with him staying for extra time. He's not got much to go home to, since he can't outright say "oh look i've got a kid now", because people are going to start asking questions.

This whole premise hinges on the fact that despite Rin is pretty much the perfect daughter, (in contrast to others) that it is still immensely difficult to raise a child. As well as Daikichi becoming accustomed to the fact that he isn't at home and he's got more to think of than just his job.

Noitamina is in a pretty safe position this season if you ask me.

Thank you for the adorable gifs. I'll make sure you have credit if I ever upload.

I'm truly obsessed with this show. The lack of quality anime had me really bummed for some time. I feel like there's so many titles out there that stick to one formula, tits and panty shots. I'm not against either of those things but I watch anime for different reasons. Hopefully this fad of engrossing anime continues.

Ep. 2

Great episode! This kind of pacing is just right for this anime. Rin showed her cute side. omg she is so adorable. <3

It's not PEE it's SWEAT!!!!!

Maybe it's drool. . .

Anyway I found myself oddly interested, even though I hate kids (for the most part).
This is something I'll continue to watch, but it's not one where I'll be counting down the minutes until it's released.

Uhm why is the op subbed on this show?
Thought CR didn`t do that becaus of copyright issues, which is a lame of the japanese artists to make a copyright claim on such.
The japanese artist whould be glad that their music gets known outside of Japan, japanese artists are weird

Guess I'm the only one who didn't like it. Not only was it as boring as I thought it'd be the style and animation was even worse. Looks like a lifeless watercolor painting half the time. Not saying it's bad but don't see myself watching more.

The section I emphasized in your comment says it all. If you go into it expecting to be bored, you are half way there. Anything is harder to enjoy if you go in expecting not to enjoy it. That said, not everyone likes slice-of-life stories, especially since most of the ones we have been exposed to in recent anime have been thinly veiled excuses for moe fanservice instead of actual stories with good character development. Well done character driven shows take time to develop. They are not for people that crave action.

True. I look forward to seeing the TV ratings for the new season. It would be interesting if a late-night show like Noitamina cracked the top 10 a few times. Noitamina usually comes in around 11th - 14th, according to the "unofficial" ratings that get posted to the ANN forum comments about the official top 10 lists that are reported. It would only take another 2-3% share for it to be in the top 10. With the popularity of the Usagi Drop manga and the quality of both it and No. 6, I think it is possible.

It's not really about wanting action, if I did I would just watch a show involving action. I watch things from most every genre and like slice-of-life so it's a good choice, usually. Usagi Drop is probably a good show but I can only say if I want to watch something or not based on the first episode. Stories take time to evolve, that's true, but the first episode failed to spark any real interest so I'm not going to. It's a shame but I just don't have the time to watch more. Especially when I have literally a hundred other things I could be watching. As for finding it boring cause I thought it would be, probably so. My expectations have been proven wrong plenty of times, though.

Oh. My. God.

I cant even describe well how I feel about this show.

This show is literally what I would expect to happen in the real world. The realism is just....SO REAL :O

And Rin....Rin is the most adorable girl ever. Like seriously, between her and Yune....I think its going to be a battle to the HNNNGGG!

Also I love this animation....it really allows us to see Rin's cute little pouts.

This is on its way to being the best Slice of Life show I have ever seen. Seriously.

And Rin just left me with a memorable quote.

ITS NOT PEE! ITS SWEAT!

They will be making a live action adaption of this show and I feel like I'll still enjoy it. I'm in shock that the audio review posted in the news feed said it wasn't too good. Even if they said differently something about them I find asinine. Here is the link. SWAT reviews.

Share with me if you feel they had a similar view on it as you.
