I really love Usagi Drop so far, but I have some qualms with it. I am nervous that it is going to become a creepy dad-daughter style loli romance. No matter how strong the character development gets, that will squick me out if it happens.

But so far, it's been a nice father/daughter bonding show and I'm enjoying it.

well i liked the story ever since episode1 and so far its not a creepy relationship like others are afraid of
.
so far its all about being a single parent and big brother almost

I saw a thread of the manga in 2008 http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-125831/usagi-drop

and now this thread about the anime 2011.

So far I love how the story is developing. I like episode 10 about the flu. Seeing how distressed Daikichi is like a new parent.

There is a moment in this episode where Kuoki okasan helped calm down Daikichi .You see when a parent gets nervous , so does the child and that would affect their recovery .Thats why in the medical field , it is important to help calm ,educate,reassure the parents first before treating the child.

I really like this anime.Its very sweet and wholesome.

I love ginger rice porridge when i am sick , thats what my mom made for me

I love this show so much, It leaves me with such a warm feeling after each episode.
This is the anime I look most forward to each week at the moment.

I <3 Usagi Drop! I can't get enough. The art work is absolutely amazing. I love the water colors and just the overall style of the series. Rin is sooo cute and the story is the most realistic slice of life I've ever seen. The thing I appeciate most of all is the way the creators captured the mind of a child so well! I watch the episodes over and over again. Will definitely be anticipating the DVD release...

I'm glad the anime ended nothing like how I heard the manga ended makes me never want to pick up the manga and just stick with the anime.

I have a question. This is the first time I watch an anime literally hours after it aired in Japan. When do you think we can expect Season 2 of Usagi drop? Is it a summer show only? I'd definitely buy the anime when it comes out here. I loved Season 1. I keep re-watching it over and over

Really love this show, sorry to see it end already (I have to wait for episode 11 still :p ).
People have been giving mixed reviews about the manga, but I want to check that out anyway...and I'll definitely buy the DVDs!

Season 2 ? ...we wont know until that anime production which is Production I.G. company decides to make a sequel.
I believe this anime was on the top 20 list on the ranking while it was on the air and if it makes good on the sales dept then they might.
Also if the fans actively email the company then that would help too.A seiyuuI (Kishio san) told me that is one way to get anime production company to consider making the next season for a particular title.

But I am fine with this anime ending at this point.

Just a note , the voice actress for RIN is Ayu Mastuura and she is just 10 years old and I though it was Miyu TSUZURAHARA who did Aishiteruze Baby . I actually like Ayu's delivery.

I believe the fact they're making a live action show based on this anime seems to be a good indicator that this series has more life and may give us a new season (eventually).

Thanks so much for answering the questions I'm so used to seeing them already dubbed or already in DVD packaging which usually means it was 1-2 years from production so I wasn't sure what the timeline was. I hope they continue.. even if it is taking creative license. I am also part of the crowd that wasn't exactly happy with the ending either. Definitely buying the DVD of this when it comes out stateside.
