I don't mind buying used manga, but it needs to be in good condition. Sometimes you can actually find some really good used manga that makes it a steal money wise. Luckily I work down the street from the main half price books in the Dallas area (the hub store) and it amazes me what they have sometimes for manga and comic books at really good prices. They usually are new copies or so slightly used you can't tell.

I definitely prefer new even if i have to purge my money on it.

I love used mangas! I get them all the time from Amazon market place and with Paperbackswap.com (you post books you want to get rid of for credits which you can use to request books from other members). I've ordered tons of used books, and I've YET to get one that was really damaged or had an odor (pet, smoking, etc).
Don't get me wrong, I love new ones too, but I wouldn't hesitate in taking a used one |

im kind of more for brand new then used but i might buy used if the price for it isnt 10x its original price and in pretty good condition in that the spine isnt creased some of the used manga prices i've seen where i've bought mine were way too expensive for a used copy.

I don't really have any interest in buying used manga, i've gotten used manga for free from my school's library(a section of the pages were falling out, but i fixed it easily) unless it's a manga i can't find any new ones of the manga.
