I love used manga. Especially the ones that seem like they have been loved a lot <3

I usually buy it brand new if i can help it. I shudder to think what the used ones have gone through...especially the ecchi mangas.

I vastly prefer new manga myself, but sometimes, with more and more things going out of print, I have to settle for used. I try to stick to better condition books and avoid former library books, but I won't pay a huge premium to do so.

Usually off Amazon for books and manga I buy new. But in my town there's this huge bookstore called Powell's City of Books. And sometimes I can go in there and find great condition used books and manga's. So, new off the internet, and used if it's good condition and I can see it in person.

I don't care if it's used or new. Sometimes I like buying used that way I can give the books love and care that it didn't get from its previous owners

I don't mind if it is used, as long as it's in a good condition. I got a couple of my English novels from used bookstores, and none of those books had given me any problems - and I'm the type to re-read my books, so that's saying quite a lot. Besides, I'm the type of person that prefers to buy something cheap. I don't see a solid enough reason to make me spend extra just to get something expensive (except widgets, gadgets or anything electronic because those stuff are better as firsthands), more so if I can get my hands on a completely identical, cheaper version of the expensive one.

Depending on the manag I have no problem buying it second hand, there is a used book store in the mall I go to that sells manga for $5 a volume which is half of what they usually sell for so so long as the volumes are in good condition (which they usually are) I have no problem buying

Originally, I couldn't stand it. I would have to have it brand new, without a scratch.
But then I realized, after I read the manga, the pages were all bent out of shape regardless.
So now whenever I buy manga, I specifically look for used books, since I know a lot of love has gone through those pages. I'm able to open it wider and bend the pages a little bit more, and in the end read a little more comfortably.

After an incident where my family ended up burning hundreds of dollars of manga because I was being a bitch towards them, I ended up sticking to the dollar discount book stores for manga. Wastes less money and matches, haha.
