I like to buy newer looking manga, but sometimes if I buy online, even if it's for a cheaper price, it is usually in pretty great condition.

I generally won't buy used since I want my books in mint condition. If they are damaged in the book store, I won't buy them either. I have books over 20 years old that still look new because I take care of them.

I buy used sometimes nothing wrong with it to me. I go for either NEW or LIKE NEW condition and still comes out cheaper plus most place i get from allow me to send it back if its not up to par as stated.

Amazon.co.jp won't sell used books to mailing addresses outside Japan, otherwise I would buy used for out of print titles. Generally I prefer new.

I LOVE buying manga but it's only until after I bought them I realize I'm totally broke . . .

Meh, as long as I could read them I wouldn't care if the manga were somehow beaten up. Its the contents, not the look I'm after!

I would buy only if its in good condition, I don't like it having cut of pieces, or anything that would resemble that anyone touched it xD

I just tend to buy mine new. I keep good care of mine and "used" is a very broad term when it comes to items these days.

I don't even like taking books from libraries sometimes. I prefer new books. That includes manga.

In Japan I bought a couple of used mangas because they looked well kept. Though there was a time I wanted a Shonen Jump volume book (the ones with the chapters of various mangas from a publisher). That thing was so dirty I left it and missed getting one that month. I then checked around and saw that bookstores and conbinis are the best place to find those new. You're still paying the same price for both, might as well get one that has a plastic binding and crispy fresh.
Back in the US, I haven't bought any manga...yet. I have found a couple of places that have manga but I wouldn't buy used manga. It's not always well kept and like Shanatanlove said, I don't know where it's been.
So to answer the question I don't buy used manga anymore. I go for new.

Simple, same feeling as I do used books.
If it's in good enough condition, and cheaper, I will.

Can't really stand "used" manga
I'd rather spend money on a new copy just so I know that it is mine and always been mine and new in general

I buy it if it is in good condition and if it's a good deal ^-^ But if it looks poorly treated or smells weird I don't xD
