I'm glad I went to the forums to see if there were any others having the same problem! And I agree, Crunchyroll should should notify people of this via the front page or something. Especially now that the problem has come under the attention of a site moderator.

I can only do so much from my end as a site moderator. Technically, anything that is posted on the front page must be approved by the staff hence why you only see a select few authors of threads for site news. I've already tried contacting someone and I'll try through another means, but that's all I can do as my hands are tied.

I did that. I even uninstalled the Codex from a few sources and re-installed. I even backed up the PC to an earlier Restore point. I'm glad it's not me lol

Hmm, there only seems to be 32 posts here though and there are hundreds of people watching the new simulcasts without any comments...perhaps it is limited to certain hardware/os.

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, Intel Quad

How about you guys?

I don't think it's browser related, (tried Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera)

I've tried 2 different systems with multiple browsers on each!
System 1 -- Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, AMD Turion Ultra Dual Core, ATI graphics (HP laptop)
System 2 -- Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, Intel Dual Core, Gforce pci express (HP tower)
I do not believe that the hardware is the problem at all.. something got changed on the software/server end of things and it means 720p no longer playing nice nice. People at Crunchy place must fix or risk losing customers.

Maybe there should be a section on the front page that site mods and up can edit for when there are problems.

From my perspective as a customer of the CR service there seems to be a bit of a disconnect between the people who first hear about the problems and the higher ups that can actually put some kind of notification on the front page saying there is a problem. This disconnect creates confusion for the customers b/c in this case the info that "Hey the 720p video feed is down" wasn't even communicated to the paying customers, 720p only available to subscribers, and it was down for almost 24 hrs.

This isn't the only time that I feel the staff of CR has left us in the dark. A while back there was the problem where the videos weren't loading correctly and they constantly buffer, play 3 seconds, buffer....... Nothing was ever on the front page and this went on for a while. Supposedly there was a problem with a service provider that CR uses but the only way to have found this out is dig through the forum.

I just don't understand how all that clutter can be on the front page yet we are still missing some kind of CR service notification on it.

Sorry for the rant it's just the lack of communication has just really bothered me.
