This new season of new anime and upcoming anime don't seem to be that interesting. I might want to wait another season. What are your opinions?

I'd have to disagree. There are a number of new shows that I'm looking forward to this season, particularly Usagi Drop and Kamisama Dolls. And, of course, we've got Steins;Gate, My Ordinary Life and Hanasaku Iroha continuing from last season.

But if you don't like anything that's airing this season, it might be a good time to go back and catch something you missed the first time around.

I think you should actually try some of them before starting this thread.

I'll be honest, I got annoyed when I saw the title.

If you don't think any of the new shows are interesting, I'm afraid you have no good taste in anime.

We've had people saying that every season since I became an anime fan. Quite frankly, find a new entertainment medium.

There are plenty of interesting shows to check out. Unfortunately, a majority of the titles I'm anticipating seem to have dodged the simulcast license.

I gave up on anime 3 years ago, my only mediums of entertainment (in order words time killers) now are manga, video games and live action shows (ex: Kamen Rider, Supernatural).

I say what I feel and you say what you feel. You have no clue about me or my taste. Your taste in anime is probably different from mine. I didn't make this thread for people like you to judge others opinions. So stay annoyed.

You may be right. I have to admit I did find Mayo Chiki! quite interesting and Im also checking out Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi. Who knows my opinion might change if I check some of them out, instead of just going by the summary.

So far my favorite that I have been watching is Blue exorcist, Hanasaku Iroha, and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. Too bad it only had 12 episodes. Deadman wonderland was good too, but sometimes i got annoyed with some parts in it. I hope they come out with a second season

I dunno I guess it depends what you are looking for. At first glance none of the titles made me excited but I checked out NO. 6 and its pretty cool, made by the same studio as Fullmetal Alchemist, BONES. So that one is not bad. Also I have not watched it yet but The Archives of Dantalian looks like it could be interesting. Maybe just watch one episode to check them out, and then if they fit your tastes keep watching.

Apparently the video sales for it have been quite low. If true, that dooms any chance of another series.

I only watched the OG higurashi, anything after felt redundant or pointless.

And what's vn?

visual novels and higurashi didn't end after the first season.... there was a reason for 2000 people dying over and over again.. ahem sorry but on topic summer anime has always been meh but I do think there are some gems hidden here.
