Apparently the video sales for it have been quite low. If true, that dooms any chance of another series.

At least since Funimation picked it up for home release the chances aren't devastating.

It didn't appeal to the hard core otaku audience, it appeals to fans over here in the west and will sell quite will but that doesn't matter. Funi did see how well streams and simulacast are doing for the show state side so that's the only real reason they could have picked it up. I don't see it getting a second season either but then again it goes both ways, mitusdmoe sold like a lead balloon as well in japan there for the reason why season 2 only had 8 epiosdes so it's not enteirly the genre either.

Have you watched any yet?

I've seen No. 6, Usagi Drop, Mayo Chiki! and Kamisama Dolls.

Three out of four seem interesting.

I am choosing to not watch them at all. I have four that I actually want to watch and that's fine by me.

i kind of disagree with you, there are some really cool titles this season like kamisama dolls, R-15, usagi drop, and more. then there are titles that didn't get licensed here on crunchyroll like ro-kyu-bu, and nurarihyon no mago season 2
As I said, I am not going to watch any other series that I didn't list, I will watch Nura: Demon Capital (which is season two by the way), Sacred Seven, Blood-C and Baka and Test season 2 (when Funimation starts streaming it). Other than that, I will not watch any series.

Personally I find it's always good to check things out.
Something the show you thought would be interesting turns out not to be, and sometimes the show you thought would be dull turns out to be great.

Look at Madoka for example. If I hadn't checked it out I would have dismissed it as just another Magic Girl show.

Meanwhile this season I haven't been too impressed with Blood-C yet but I'm going to give it another episode or two, Sacred Seven seems fun enough and Penguindrum has left me puzzled and confused.

New Season = New Experiences.

Efff not what I wanted to hear That is a shame it's actually quite a good manga and show. Slow to pick up but really good when it got going *sigh*

I'm really looking forward to No.6, studio Bones never fails to deliver some awesome shows animation wise.

I literally just finished the series. I don't think "enjoyed" would be the correct word, but it is most definitely a story I would like to view more of.

Back on topic, I've viewed the A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives, Blood-C, and Twin Angel at NicoNico. Last season, I picked a couple of series that I expected to be "middle of the road" and watched those week to week, while the ones that I thought would be the best I saved until they were complete (i.e., Deadman Wonderland, and from last season, Gosick). Despite the spoilers some times encountered, being able to watch a series at my own pace has its own appeal.

At the moment, I am leaning toward watching Blood-C and A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives week-to-week (although waiting for the latter at CR), saving Natsume Yujincho until complete, and seeing what the buzz is after the first few episode for my other "save for later" pick(s). I'll be keeping a close eye on the buzz on The Mystic Archives of Dantalian Videos.

From my perspective, it's not so much the fact that this season is bad, but rather the last two seasons of anime we've had were rather excellent. This season is plagued by action, ecchi and slice of life, despite Isihara's failure of a legislation. Not that these genres are bad, it's more of the fact that they aren't exactly awe-inspiring.
As TheAncientOne implied above, A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives and Natsume Yujinchou are being met quite well, as is The Mystic Archives of Dantalian Videos, though I know scarce information about the last one. Baka to Test is coming out as well, which I eagerly look forward to. And of course, there's GAINAX's newest work.

On another note, can someone explain why Brains Base decided to air three animes this season? They don't really need to make a bigger name for themselves and thanks to Durarara!!! have a steady stream of cash flowing in.

Speaking of the new season, why is it taking so long for some of the shows slated to stream here on CR to actually be available. On at least one other streaming site I already found the first eps of "A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives" and "R-15", but here on CR they're still not available. Does this have something to do with Nico Nico streaming some series? Maybe the contract CR has with the content holders only allows them to stream it after it's been broadcast on TV and not on Nico Nico. I dunno. Anybody else notice this?

NicoNico has a one week exclusive on Kadokawa simulcasts, which is the reason they are delayed on CR. As for why, here is a hint: Kadokawa invested in NicoNico's parent company, and it invested in Kadokawa.

Basically, when NicoNico opened the English language version of their website, CR got bumped to second fiddle.

Ah yeah, that's kind of what I suspected. Just didn't have confirmation on what was going on behind the scenes, just hearsay. Oh well, guess in the long run It won't matter too much to me to be honest. As the season progresses I usually fall behind on some shows and have to play catch up anyway, so a one week delay won't really be the end of the world.

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée, Kamisama Dolls, Usagi Drop and Kamisama no Memo-chou are my must watch shows this season. There's good shows out there, you just have to give some of them a chance.

Nico Nico is yet another streaming site that is no good to me, so CR remains my only option for everything pretty much, (unless I go torrent hunting) Only place I don't get "this video is only viewable for residents of the United States."

I have no problems waiting a week for stuff to appear on CR anyway.

A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives (6/10), Kamisama Dolls (7/10), Natsume Yuujinchou (10/10), No. 6 (9/10), R-15 (6/10), Sacred Seven (7/10), and Uta no Prince Sama (7/10) is what's on my list so far and how I would rate them. Seems like a pretty good season to me.

Also still watching Blue Exorcist, SKET Dance, and Steins;Gate from last season.

Incidentally I don't care about things being delayed a week either. Need to wait a week between episodes anyway.
