I really need to get around to the books. But looking at what a few other people have posted I am not alone in putting that off lol.

Just watched the latest episode. Season 3 has been pretty much perfect, so far. And I can see the last few episodes being very... bloody.

I can't wait to see how they adapt the coming events in the books!

I have yet to read the books but I am about to start this week! On the scale of 1-10, how epic are we talking here? So excited!

The books are on par with the show, they are just awesome. And it's really nice to have that extra insight and just that greater understanding of the events that you gain from reading the books
And the end of season 3 shall be good. Very good, if they end it where I think they're going to

Godddd, that now makes me want to read them even sooner! I have viewed the extras from the DVD's and know a little of the history and lore from them. But I would love to expand the episodes via reading the books. I bet they miss out a whole lot. Not by choice. They can't fit it all in, I know.

Yeah they cut a few characters and interesting scenes here and there, but you get all the main plot lines in the series and it's brilliantly done. It's awesome to see the characters brought to life! ^_^ I hope you enjoy the books as much as you have the series!
I can't wait for tonight, series 3 episode 6 today!!!!!! 9pm is going to be AWESOME. I loved last weeks episode ending! XD (hilarious much?)

Yeeeeah, but I don't finish work until 10pm so I have to waaait!

Haha, yeah! I loved watching Cersei's face being told (like a good little girl, hehe). I think everyone was laughing by the end of that episode. I want to see more of Bran because I have so many theories about his character. He's the most interesting for me. But Jamie and Tyrion are my favourites so more scenes with them two would be great.

I know next to nothing about them. I have only heard bits and bobs; that they rule Dorne in the South and that Aegon Targaryen was unable to conquer them. They surely must be a House to be feared.

^ They are to be feared definitely! Hopefully the series portrays them properly. I wouldn't wanna see white actors playing them, not that i have anything against that though haha.

on a whole different note, im 4 episodes behind and i can't find a single good link online. totally sucks

There were times I felt bored but I kept watching for those adorable dragons. The wait between seasons is too long though.
