Not sure if it was a flash update or a change in your site, but streaming on Linux seems to magically work for me.

I joined as a premium member about 2 months ago and was disappointed to find that streaming was not working for me. (Archlinux x86_64 + Firefox)
I decided to keep my subscription although I was forced to continue watching my shows though less legitimate channels, figuring that without iTunes, crunchyroll was the most convenient way for me to support the content creators even though the site did not work for me.

Knowing that Linux issues often tend to just fix themselves as updates roll out, I continued checking the site every week or so and found yesterday that suddenly everything worked.

Got a little less done yesterday then I had planned, but it's good knowing that talented artists are getting something back for thier hard work.

Don't know what the fix was, but Im glad I held out. Thanks for a great site.

Surprisingly yes, CR does work with linux though there may be some bugs (like hit full screen before video finishes loading, the player and video are then resized horridly from their original on screen graphic I guess - at least for me). I doubt anything distro specific is going on but I've been using opensuse 11.4.

Streaming, even 720p, has worked for longer than 2 months though, and I know cause I've been using it. I also use FF and x86_64.

Now to find out why that latest flash update to 11 (64bit) has crap performance fullscreen...

I've noticed that as well, using Chromium in Linux Mint 9 x86_64; leaving fullscreen and trying again always seemed to fix the problem, if it even is Linux specific.

Since the videos are all Flash, I don't ever recall having a problem with CR, though enabling some experimental features in Chromium did break Hulu for a couple months.

The new Flash 64-bit works smoothly here - also 720p fullscreen.
Linux eOS (based on Ubuntu 10.10). All in all I've never had any problems with Flash and streaming over the years. So may be it's hardware related?
