i do not agree, due to the fact that stem cells are not the panacea that every believes they are. at best they can only mimic roughly 30% of any given cell that does not exactly match the embryonic DNA sequence.

^ I thought I heard somewhere that they actually made a nerve or something a while back?

It's just research nobody knows if its gonna work yet. =\

yeah they can replicate nerves, but therein lies the problem, due to the mitochondrial DNA not matching exactly, the synapsins in the brain will not receive the chemical stimulation properly from other synapsins. this is because the cells that were replicated are genetically lacking substance. its almost like putting 2 cycle engine oil in a car engine, it will work for a short period of time, but will need to be replaced constantly and will cause the engine to deteriorate
