My point is, there are other places to see these shows other than webcasts.
therefore it doesent really matter that CR has to drop them.
CR is not a place to come if you want to rewatch shows over and over, thats what fansubs are for (or, like you said, import dvd/bluray).
CR is a place to come to watch recently aired shows that would otherwise only be available to people who live in japan.
who rewatches webcast streams?
By the way, bluray encodes, depending on the group, look aot better than the source material.
Unfortunatly, japanese bluray producers seem to think its totally ok to upscale a 480p/720p show to 1080p and call it "Bluray"
So yes, you are right there is a BIG difference.
I still buy bluray anime for the simple joy of having a hard copy, but as for actually watching it, fansubs look better.
In australia, where i live, licensed bluray anime is very hard to come by, everything is on dvd.
I can import blurays from japan but they are never in dual audio.

It's retarded how they do this when they have other aime or dramas on here that are only rated three stars or below that never get watch that should be removed.

These titles were only removed because Kadokawa terminated the license. All 4 titles were licensed by Funimation. It has nothing to do with the popularity of the series.
Frankly it is a wonder that Strike Witches 2 and Sora no Otoshimono Forte were not removed long ago, as both were licensed by Funimation soon after they premiered. I can only assume the reason is that Funimation did not fulfill some contract term of the license until recently.

A little more advance notice would have been nice, I hadn't finished kore wa.
Next stop netflix english dub streaming only with the same lousy voice actors Funimation uses on every other series.

I suspect CR gave us about as much notice as they were given by Kadokawa. Frankly, this was an improvement, as in the past there has been no notice in this forum when a series is about to removed.
A rule of thumb with any Kadokawa series is to finish watching it within 30 days after the last episode was posted. That is the earliest Kadokawa has the right to remove the series, unless otherwise listed (i.e., Gosick going away on 07/15/11 for some regions).

they should remove naruto and bleach and all that other crap too, i mean srsly no one is watching after 50000+ episodes, let it die already! its the same friggin episode over and over and over with only 6-10 episodes out of every 100 having any actual plot and rarely is it any good >.>
certain ones up there are understandable since they're gonna market the DVD here in the U.S soon and why buy the dvd when you can watch it here right?
and i do wish they had audio options on netflicks or they just released them without the dubs, funimation seriously needs to stop dubbing things! anime is one thing - it gets dubbed all the time - but a movie? really?! do they have some retard deciding these things? I mean i like that they're being faster with licensing more recent things and releasing them faster but they're on a very fine line with alot of poeple. >.>

Well some of us only now found crunchyroll and are enjoying such popular shows. Just because it is something you don't wish to watch doesn't mean ruin it for those of us that want to watch it. I use the Boxee and I love being albe to watch all the shows on my TV. It isn't like if they take those off you'll get something else instead. Let us keep everything Crunchyroll has access to.

We no longer have the distribution rights for the shows. That is why they are being removed. It has nothing to do with what we personally like or dislike .....
