If you are planning on to becoming a parents, and going to have kids in the future, if you could chose which sex to give birth to, which would you chose?

Please keep in mind that I have no intention of starting a riot over which sex is better than the other. This is only for informational purposes.

I want to see which side is stronger and much more favored.

Pick a choice, and give me at LEAST 3 reasons why you pick that choice over the other. You can give more reasons but try keeping it at a minimum of 3.

For me I like having a baby boy more than a baby girl.
Reasons: (base on my expertise and knowledge)
1) Boys are somewhat easier to care for.
2) Doesn't wear make-ups.
3) Doesn't worry too much about their outlook/appearances.
4) Cool. LMAO.
5) If he got a girl pregnant, it wouldn't be hard to punish him unlike the girl.
6) Boys growing up will most likely to return and care for their parents (I'm being bias here)
7) More dependable in MOST situation. (Bias here too)

Going OT for a bit, I don't think punishing a child for getting someone or being pregnant is going to change anything. You might as well support them or you'll end up losing a branch of your family. (i.e they'll cut you off) ...just sayin'

Anyway, I don't mind what sex they're as long as we develop a strong bond that's all that counts (and give me some grand children as well).

You say give you three reasons, well I can't because I just don't think I could ever chose if I had the opportunity I'm afraid, just let it come as a surprise. Think about it. You choose a son first, but what if your wife wants a girl as a second child. Then your daughter asks "why did you want a boy first?" how are you going to explain you preferred having a son over a daughter, she'd sorta think you didn't want her and assume you prefer your son. Then that would cause a lot more issues, heh.

Well, I don't really know what i will say to my daughter if it comes to that point, but If it comes to that, I will give her a straight answer, and tell her how I feel. There is no reason for me to hide why I Prefer a boy over a girl, but just because I prefer a boy over a girl, doesn't mean that I hate her.

If she ever thinks that I don't want her, I'll answer something like this: "Why would you think that I don't want you? I want a son more than I want a daughter because a boy can do a lot of things that a girl can't do, like playing tackle football or wrestling, or boxing. sure a girl can do those things too, but can you imagine what other people think if I was to play any of those sports with you? I don't want to hurt you that's all. Just because Steven is a boy and you are a girl, doesn't mean I love him any more than I love you. You're both my kids."

Damn, i got goosebump just writing those words.

My immediate reaction would be baby girl just cause in the long run I'd have more years to dress her up. I'd assume I'd eventually stop putting my (hypothetical) son in cute outfits unless he didn't mind.

But when I really think about it I know that when I reach that point in my life I wouldn't care either way all that would matter is that the baby is healthy.

Having a boy means i can buy him guy clothes, exercise/running heaps, and other guy stuff....probably my husband will teach him =.= ( i have a interest in guy clothes )

Maybe i won't even have kids nor have a husband.....T_T oh who gives,.....wen the times comes i'll see~

Neither. I work around kids, that's enough for me. Besides, with certain other leanings, I don't think I'm going to have a kid any time soon...

i want a baby boy for sure but wouldnt mind also having a girl
1) i think boys are more fun to play with when younger
2) i always wanted a brother
3) based on my experience with my parents i would not want to be the parent of a teenage girl XD
